Greetings!

Only two days until Christmas. Why not grab some tracts and head to the mall to share the Gospel with some shoppers. While people are busy buying gifts, you could take the opportunity to tell them about the true meaning of Christmas.

Have you sent your Christmas cards to the ACLU and the President. We have provided a special Christmas card that you can print and send to them.

From all of us at Bezeugen Ministries, we'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas!
As You Go
Merry Christmas

I have found that Christmas time is one of the easiest times to share the Gospel with people. At the mall, I can point to the decorated tree and ask, "what do you call that?" Or while talking to a worker at the kiosk, I can ask, "would this make a good Christmas present?" It's easy to go from there to, "do you celebrate Christmas?" "Why do you celebrate Christmas?" "Why do you think Christians celebrate Christmas?" These simple questions lead quickly to the being able to explain that Jesus had to be born so that he could die for the sin of the whole world.

Project Ezra
Mande Gospel of John
Project Ezra is dedicated to the public reading of God's Word. This group has been a great way to get involved in open air preaching by using the reading of the Word as a spring board to preaching the Gospel. It's also a great way to get involved in public evangelism simply by reading a chapter a week even without the preaching.

I've been participating in Project Ezra since it started back in July. This week was extra special for me. My wife, Mande, and friends Roy and Debbie met at the Dallas Convention Center on Saturday morning. There was a big event being held to reach out the to homeless people. We set up the box near the line and started reading the Gospel of John. Roy, Deb and I were rotating chapters. We were also handing out tracts and Gospels of John so the people could follow along with us. Many of the people were following along closely. One little boy, probably about eight years old, listened intently and followed the reading with his finger in his copy of the Gospel of John.

As I finished chapter 8, Mande came over and said, "I think I'll read chapter 9." WOW! It was awesome to have my wife join us!

Roy and I each did a little bit of open air preaching as well. It took about two hours to read the whole book. We handed out about 100 copies of the Gospel of John and probably over 400 Gospel tracts.

If you are looking for a fun and easy way to get involved in public evangelism, then I recommend that you prayerfully consider getting involved with Project Ezra. If you live in Dallas area then give me a shout and come join us in the next few weeks. If not to read, then to observe and pray for us.

Memory Verse
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:1-2,14 (NIV)
