Greetings!
This was an exciting week for Bezeugen Ministries. We were  able to have a ministry table at the Texas Revival  Series in Justin. The weekend long seminar offered a number of great speakers and a witnessing event in downtown Fort Worth. Our ministry raffled off two sets of "Evangelism gear" (cargo shorts with the pockets stuffed with over 700 Gospel tracts). Congratulations to Jim Reesmar (wife Erin pictured) and Michael Bailey for winning the raffles. Mande did an awesome job putting together signs for our table and making t-shirts for Duane and I to wear. Thanks, honey!

 Interview Postponed
I had told a number of you that I would be interviewed on Thursday (October 1) by Tony Miano on Ambassador's Alliance Radio about our door to door ministry. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this weeks show has been cancelled and the interview has been postponed to a later date. I'll let you know when it is rescheduled. Part 1
This is Part One of what will probably be a twelve part series on
witnessing "As You Go". After much prayer and consideration the leadership of Bezeugen Ministries decided
to share a step by step approach to getting out there and sharing the Gospel.
Ultimately as this unfolds it will be esat to see that the steps do not even
need to be followed in any particular order. We are merely putting them
out there in a suggested order that makes sense. You can jump in when you are ready!
The first question that comes to mind when handing out tracts or
witnessing is "Are Gospel tracts really effective?". In our studies we
have found numerous people that have been saved through Gospel tracts.
We've even heard of a man who found a Gospel tract in an outhouse, read
it, repented of sin and became a believer in Jesus. He then confronted
his wife who it turns out was a false convert. She eventually repented
and trusted Jesus as her savior too! Now they are both out on the
streets witnessing and sharing the Gospel with others.
I'd like to encourage you to take one minute and thirteen seconds to
watch this video of Brady Brewer. I met Brady in May (2009). He shared
with me that he was saved through a Gospel tract. Please watch and
listen as he describes the impact of the Gospel tract in his life.
Now please consider. How many "Brady's" will you come in contact with
today, this week or this month? Could you hand them a Gospel tract or
leave a tract someplace where they will find it? Can you give the
"Brady's" out there a chance at heaven?
If you are not already a member of the Bezeugen Tract Club, why not
enroll online today, receive 30 free Gospel tracts per month and start
handing them out.

We appreciate your prayers
- Pray for the development of new tracts for the tract club. Pray also for the continued growth of the tract club. Pray about who you can tell about the tract club! And if you are not a member of the tract club, then pray about enrolling.
- Pray for wisdom and strength in how to reach Carrollton, TX with the Gospel.
- Organizational efforts for witnessing at the Dallas Christmas Parade on December 5th. This is one of the biggest events in Dallas each year. Last year the crowd was estimated at 400,000! Pray about your personal involvement. Could you hold a video camera and shoot video? Could you come and take pictures of the event? Could you work at a prayer booth? Could you hand out tracts? Could you pick up trash? Could you help go back and forth to the car and bring more tracts to those that are distributing? Can you pray for the event fervently - especially that God will raise up workers? Can you send a tax deductible donation to help cover the costs of printing as many as 50,000 Gospel tracts for this event?
- Pray for the "Origin Into Schools" project being organized by Living Waters as well as our team (including Duane Seaberg, Jon Speed, Mande and myself) as we head to University of Texas at Austin for this.
- Please pray for Moses in Uganda as he continues to take mission trips and share the Gospel. Please pray that the tracts we mailed over two months ago will arrive soon so that they can be used there. You can read an update about Moses in the Grace Bible Church monthly newsletter.
- Please pray for complete healing from brain tumor for Pastor Larry Brakenhoff of Alta Vista, KS. He and his church are members of the Tract Club and doing tremendous outreaches in central Kansas.

Monday's and Thursday's at lunch: witnessing at Valley View Mall, Galleria Mall, Gravevine Mills Mall, Irving Mall or Brookhaven College. If you would like to join us, please contact me for the specific location and time for a given day. October 5 - First Monday Fellowship and Prayer. Prayer time is 7:30-8PM Central. Remote participants may join on the conference bridge. Dial in number is 218-862-1000 with access code 1098645#. October 5-8 - Carl travels to NYC on company business. Pray for witnessing opportunities along the way. October 12 - Second Monday Bezeugen Tract Club conference call. Starting this month, on the second Monday of each month we will have a conference call for the tract club members. Call in and share your stories of witnessing using our tracts, ask questions, share ideas for new tracts, be encouraged and equipped and pray together. Please join us on the conference bridge from 9-10PM Central time. Dial in number is 218-862-1000 with access code 1098645#. October 15 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar in Pilot Point from 7-9PM. November 11 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar at Grace Bible Church in Troutville, VA. November - Origin into Schools - myself, Duane, Mande and Jon Speed will be at UT Austin. November 19 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar in Carrollton, Texas. November 22 - Open air and tract distribution at Dallas Cowboys game in Arlington. Kickoff is at noon. We will arrive in Arlington sometime between 8-9AM. Details to follow as date gets closer. December 5 - Dallas Christmas Parade - We need 50 people to help us distribute 50,000 tracts! Please email me to RSVP! December 5 - Big XII Football Championship at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Details are TBD based on kickoff. Possible witnessing at any of the Dallas Cowboys home games.
