Greetings!
This has been a good week. My last night in New York I got to witness to a Christian Scientist and four Bhudists as well as a number of other folks. On the plane ride home, I got to enjoy some Bible study and fellowship with a Christian from Kenya! On Saturday, I was able to continue reaching Carrollton for Christ covering 66 more houses and having 17 one on one conversations! Having had some really busy weeks, Craig and I were finally able to hookup for lunch on Monday. My son Eric joined us. We had some wonderful conversations with people at the mall and got to share the Gospel a number of times. I hope you will enjoy reading the rest of the newsletter to catch the highlights of what is going on. We have a new Gospel tract that will be going out in the September tract club mailing.  Bezeugen Movie Night
On Saturday August 22nd, Bezeugen Ministries will be hosting its quarterly outreach movie night. We will be showing Amazing Grace. Doors open at 6PM. The movie will start at 6:30. Snacks will be provided. After the movie we will have a discussion time. This is a GREAT opportunity to invite your unsaved friends to come see a movie and you can be sure they will hear the gospel at some point in the evening.  I am starting a new thread on my blog.
I've been thinking and praying
about this for sometime. Several recent discussions with Muslims about
their claim that "the Bible is corrupt" has caused me to search the
scriptures over and over again. The question is, what is corrupt, and
who corrupted it? They will point to a verse here or there. An
inconsistent translation. However, when we look at the overall theme of
the Bible - God's plan for the redemption of mankind through His son
Jesus Christ, a person is no longer dependent on a single verse. God
built so much redundancy into His word that it is impossible to miss
the message of the Bible if one will only look.

Project Ezra is dedicated to the public reading of God's Word. It is fun and easy to be involved. Please read the strategy and prayerfully consider getting involved. This weeks suggested reading is Psalm 49-53. Remember you can simply get up on a box or bench and read these verses or any of the verses for the week, or you can use the reading as a spring board to open air preach. A little boy was waiting for his mother to come out of the grocery Store. As he waited, he was approached by a man who asked, "Son, can You tell me where the Post Office is?"
The little boy replied, "Sure! Just go straight down this street a coupla blocks and turn to your right."
The man thanked the boy kindly and said, "I'm the new pastor in town. I'd like for you to come to church on Sunday. I'll show you how to get to Heaven."
The little boy replied with a chuckle. "Awww, come on... You don't Even know the way to the Post Office." |

If you would like to join us, please contact me for the specific location and time for a given day. August 22 - Carrollton for Christ. We will be witnessing door to door in Carrollton on Saturday morning. Time is TBD. Contact me for more details. August 22- Movie Night in Carrollton 6:00 pm August 27 - Basic Evangelism Training Seminar, Pilot Point, 7-9PM August 29 - TLC Ministries will be witnessing and doing open air at the Cowboys pre-season football game.
