Greetings!
This week we were able to witness at Grapevine Mills Mall, Stonebriar Mall and around our neighborhood in an effort to reach Carrollton for Christ. Some further study and discussion led me to an idea for a book. The first installment is included in this newsletter as The Holiness Dilemma.

This week something dawned on me as to why people don't respond to the Gospel. They don't see the seriousness of their sin. Even this week I've had people say things like "yes, I've lied, but only little white lies, nothing serious." One man that I was witnessing to when I asked him how many lies he had told in his entire life said, "less than ten". Wow! I was amazed. For comparison, I asked a Christian teenager the same question and his response was, "I have no idea." Then I asked a Christian adult and her answer was the same, "WOW! I don't know."

When man minimizes sin, then he has minimized his need for a savior!

Why is it such a big deal?

door An update!
On Saturday, we were set to head out into the neighborhood to continue sharing the Gospel with the city of Carrollton. About the time we were gathering to head out, heavy rains and thunder started. The rain let up slightly and we decided we would take umbrella's and go out anyway. But then when we got the umbrella's and were ready to go the rain picked up again. So we decided to go to the mall and witness instead.

At the mall we had a number of good conversations. We spoke for nearly 45 minutes with a man named Mike. He is from Persia, had left Islam, but was still searching.

Witnessing
Project Ezra New Testament on box Project Ezra
This week we took Project Ezra to the Southlake Square. Mande and I met up with Jon Speed of Lost Cause Ministries and his daughter. I read Romans 5 and then preached and presented the Gospel. Two videos capture the event. The first video is the reading of Romans 5. The second video is the gospel presentation.

Jon also preached in the open air and shared the Gospel. You can watch part one, part two and part three of his preaching online as well.

While we were in Southlake, I had the opportunity to preach open air and share the Gospel a second time. You can watch this in part one and part two.

On Sunday, I read the book of Galatians at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.

It never too late to get involved with Project Ezra. Each weekend you have the opportunity to read God's Word in the open air. For the details, see the Project Ezra site.
