Greetings!
Thanks for your prayers for safe travel on our vacation. We had a great trip and arrived home safely! While out of town, I was exchanging some emails with a Muslim friend. I thought I would share some thoughts on that as well as some other witnessing we have done recently.

Witnessing to Muslims

 A few months ago I attended a class called Islam 101 at a local Mosque.
The purpose of attending was to get a first hand understanding of Islam
- "straight from the horses mouth", so to speak. It was a good
experience. I learned a lot about the religion. I also met a few
friends, had a chance to share the Gospel with a number of Muslims at
the mosque and have continued a couple of relationships from the class.
One
of the guys I meet there sent me a link to a YouTube video
called "Top Ten reasons that Jesus is not God." I watched that video
and have been dialoging with him for the last several weeks about
it. Before I get to the main point, though, I'd like to point out that
the top reason that Jesus can not be God for many people, including
Muslims, is that if Jesus is God, then they must submit to Him. The
Bible says that ultimately, every knee will bow. But John 3:19 is clear
that men love their sin more than the savior. Sadly, God's wrath will
remain on them when they die (John 3:36).
After having a
discussion for a couple of weeks, my friend has pointed out what many
Muslims believe... that the Bible has changed!
However, this brings up the age old questions, "if the Bible has changed", then:

Out of the Comfort Zone

 A Cross, A snow cone Machine, A Bounce House
Tony Miano posted some messages to his blog over the weekend that were very inspiring. These had to do with using a cross in his witnessing. I hope you will take the time to read Part One and Part Two. These document Tony stepping out of his comfort zone and doing Evangelism in a new way.
At the same time, we have been praying about stepping out in a new way. It is starting to take shape. Please be praying for direction. We are looking to do a community outreach. We will include snow cones and a bounce house for the kids. Then invite the community to the park and preach the Gospel in the open air. We will also need a lot of help with this. Help will be in the form of passing out flyers, operating the bounce house, making snow cones, answering questions, handing out tracts, etc. Your prayers are appreciated!

 Taste Dallas
On Friday, I had the chance to meet up with Mike Rios to do some Open Air at the Dart Station in Dallas. Craig and Todd were also available so they meet up too. Mike brought his wife and a friend named Steve. Since I was off work, I had plenty of time. When I arrived in Dallas, the West End was closed off for the Taste Dallas festival. Needless to say, this was like an evangelism dream come true. The streets were crawling with lots of people. In the first fifteen minutes I handed out several hundred tracts while I waited for Todd to meet me for lunch. While we were eating, I texted Craig and Mike and asked them to bring more tracts. They did! After lunch we had a number of great one on ones and did a little open air stop light preaching. I even talked to an ex-lesbian who had been born again six months ago and was now soundly saved! I'll be going back to this Dart station on Saturday.
On Tuesday at Bible study, Pastor Biggs suggested using a God Sized Question to start conversations with people by asking them if they had heard of the news story where a family in Saudi Arabia was suing a genie. Then ask about spirits and finally if the Holy Spirit exists. Later in the day, I had the opporuntiy to use this opener twice. Both times lead to wonderful spiritual conversations and chances to share the Gospel. Please keep this as a reminder to watch the news and use stories as transitions to the Gospel.
Finally, I'd like to call your attention to some updates for the Project Ezra group. This group is dedicated to the public reading of God's word. Some new changes are going into effect so that starting this Saturday, people around the world will be reading God's word in public every week!  Ministry Update
As many of you know, we have partnered with Grace Bible Church in Troutville, VA on several things especially in support of Moses in Uganda by providing him Gospel tracts. We have also shipped a complete set of all of our Free Resources to have a copy at Grace Bible Church and also in Uganda. Pastor Steve has indicated that they are trying to build up a resource library in Uganda. They are looking for resources by any of the following authors
