On Saturday we participated in a garage sale at Hebron Community Church. We received donations from some of the members of this list and sold the items at the garage sale. Those proceeds have been sent to the ministry to re-invest into Evangelism resouces. In fact while we were at the garage sale we discussed an idea for a new Gospel tract. We have a prototype we are kicking around and should have it ready to go to print soon! Many thanks to those that donated to the sale as well as those that came to help with the sale.

We also used the garage sale as a witnessing event. We handed out free bottles water as a lead in to tell people about the living water (John 4). We  handed out over 200 bottles of water and at least that many Gospel tracts. We also had a number of great one on one conversations with people about the Gospel. At least one man said he would call to discuss it further! We also made a number of contacts with other Christians giving them tracts to distribute on their own and inviting them to join the Bezeugen Tract Club.

Dallas, West End
Due to the swine flu outbreak the school district is closed. I then took vacation. That allowed my son Eric and I to meet Craig in the West End on Monday around noon time. We had a number of great one on one conversations with people. Satan was really active as well using every thing from cell phones ringing, trains arriving and even a fight breaking out to try to interrupt the sharing of the Gospel! We asked one man named Herman  how he got saved. He told us a long story about serving in church as a younger man. He went on for about 3-5 minutes. I kept expecting him to tell us some amazing story of repentance and faith. Then he looked right at me and said, "I still am not saved!" WOW! Eric looked at him and asked, "What are you waiting for?" He said he was not sure. Then his cell phone rang and he walked off. When the call ended we had another 30 seconds with him when he said, there is my train. He asked how he could reach me. So I gave him my cell number which he programmed into his phone. I reminded him that today is the day of salvation and that he needed to repent and trust Jesus. He said he knew. He called me on the phone a few minutes later to verify the number and said he would call again. Please pray for him to accept salvation through Jesus Christ!
