The NBA Playoffs are in full swing. Saturday afternoon my son and I went to Dallas and handed out tracts at the American Airlines Center before Game 4 of the Mavericks vs Spurs game. We found a spot that was about a block from the stadium where people were coming from the South and the East. Eric took one street and I took the other. So as people converged on the intersection to cross to the stadium they passed by one of us. In about 45 minutes we handed out 1000 tracts! We had very positive response to the new Obama Million Dollar bill tracts, the Bail Out Tracts and the Get Out of Hell Free tracts. We also had some NBA Trivia tracts from One Million Tracts that were very popular and easy to hand out. Of course some people hesitated to take anything. Yet, others would come back and ask for another one for a friend or relative! We found a few tracts on the ground. One had been ripped to shreds. It is amazing to see the effect that the Gospel has on some people to tear up the tract and throw it on the ground. At least anger is better than apathy. Please pray that these seeds fell on furtile ground.
After the game started, we headed over to the West End and witnessed to a homeless man named Earl. Please pray that he will come to know the Savior, Jesus!
