We have had some great witnessing opportunities this week. On Thursday, Todd and I had the opportunity to share the Gospel during lunch time at Willowbend Mall in Plano. A woman named Sierra listened to the Gospel intently and asked many questions. One young man said he had just gone back to church. That sounded promising until I asked which church. He said he was a Jehovah's Witness. So we asked a few questions about who he thought Jesus is. He said, "God's son". Again, sounds good. But, the key is that he would not acknowledge that Jesus is God. I asked him "if there is a one percent chance that Jesus is who He said He is, would you look at the evidence?" He said yes. So I gave him a This is the Verdict tract and my business card. I told him I would buy him lunch if he calls me so we can discuss it more. The tract has an offer for a free copy of The Case for Christ book by Lee Strobel. If you are in the tract club, you should have received your April mailing by now. It includes these tracts. Please be sure to point people to the free book offer on the back. On Monday at lunch Todd, Craig, and I were witnessing at Brookhaven College while Mande prayed for us. We had many wonderful conversations. I spoke with Alex, Raul, and Hector for about 15 minutes. After going through the entire Gospel presentation I asked if they had any questions. Hector looked at me and said, "how do I know what you are saying is true?" Excellent question. He could see that it does not matter what he believes, only what is true. We talked about the historical, archeological and prophetic evidence. I offered him a copy of The Case for Christ. He said he would consider it. Please pray for him to know the truth.

Nationally
We received an enrollment for the tract club from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alta Vista, Kansas asking for 150 tracts per month so their Evangelism team can hand them out. On Saturday I spoke with Connie and we discussed some ways to help them out. We have sent 20 each of six different business card tracts. Connie is going to the office store to get a business card holder that will hold multiple business cards. This will be available at the church to allow members to get tracts. We also have tract club sample packs. These are now available at four churches!

Can you imagine that believers walk for 2 miles to go for prayers on foot? While at church they find a pastor with a torn Bible with several pages missing wearing a
tattered shirt, torn and patched trouser. Yet these people love God so much and with all their hearts, minds and worship Dance, sing, praise with Joy and energy!

This is part of a message I received recently from Moses, a missionary in Uganda. Moses asked for assistance. We sent him 250 Gospel Tracts. They should arrive in Uganda this week. Please pray for their distribution in Uganda. Please also pray for how Bezeugen should be involved with this mission opportunity.

I received this story in an email. It is very moving. I am not sure if it is an actual true account. But, the message is incredible regardless...

 
Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts. 
This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, 'OK,   dad, I'm  ready.'
