Greetings!

Over the past few months several people have asked to stop receiving the Bezeugen Blast. Probably seems strange to hear me say this, but, "That's OK!" As we move the mailing list over to Constant Contact, I thought I would take this opportunity to explain the purpose of this newsletter. Once the purpose is clear, I pray that you will choose to remain subscribed, receive the updates, and support the ministry with your prayers. If so, you may also like to forward this to your friends and encourage them to subscribe as well. If not, you may feel free to unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of this email.
First Purpose
craig witnessing Prayer
The primary purpose of the Bezeugen Blast is to ask you to pray for the ministry. Prayer is a very important (if not the most important) part of this ministry. You can help win souls by praying for us when we are out witnessing. You can check the online calendar to pray for witnessing events. We also ask you to pray for names of people that we have talked to that they would come to salvation. The Blast will often provide specific prayer requests for you to pray about.

Prayer Request
This week we learned that we have been nominated to receive money from a trust fund. For months we have been praying for money to rent some billboards to advertise the www.AfterLifeCatalog.com website. This money would be enough to put up several such billboards. Please pray for this. We should hear something by mid-March!
Second Purpose
Bezeugen Logo - Cropped Encouragement
The second purpose of this newsletter is to provide you with encouragement to share Christ with people that you know and meet. The newsletter will provide a witnessing tip each week. In addition, the ministry provides monthly seminars that will be announced here (Tomorrow night, February 5th, in Carrollton) and on the website.  These seminars are provided to help you and your friends learn how to effectively and Biblically share the Gospel. We also provide the Bezeugen Tract Club to supply you with tracts to share  as you "go" about your day.

Witnessing Tip
When you find yourself afraid to hand a tract to someone face to face try this. Go to a park and bring a big bag of rocks. Tie a tract to the bag. Then climb up in the tree with the bag of rocks. When someone walks by, throw the bag of rocks down on them. When they come to they can read the tract! Yikes! That sounds a bit "hard" on them. So instead, pray something like this "Lord, I am scared. But, you have called me to be your witness. So I will hand this tract to someone today."  Then as you "go" about your day, hand the tract to someone. Pastor Biggs recently referred to this as the "pray and go" approach.
 Third Purpose
Carl Witnessing Reporting what is happening
The final purpose of this newsletter is to report to you about the ongoing activities of the ministry. This includes reporting about answered prayers, witnessing events and things like "how seminars went".

Evangelism Update
Last week, Todd, Craig and I were able to meet for lunch and do some witnessing twice: once at Valley View Mall and once at Grapevine Mills Mall. At Valley View Mall we  had some great one on one conversations. At Grapevine Mills we were able to meet up with Debbie who was interested in some mentoring on how to use The Way of the Master. We had some great conversations with Michelle (a Catholic from Korea) and Yafet (a Jew from Israel). On Saturday, I took Eric and Brendan to the American Airlines Center in Dallas and we handed out450  tracts before the Harlem Globetrotters "game". Both of my boys had a fun time. Eric commented to me something that may resonate with many of you, "I never really want to go, but I am always glad I did." This Monday Todd, Craig and I met again at Valley View and and had  great conversations with some of the people that we have established relationships with over the past year including Nick, Anil, Machpool and a new friend named Zee. We also had several other great conversations with people we met in the mall.
So there you have it: the three purposes of this weekly newsletter. I hope it makes sense.  I also hope and pray that you will partner with us in sharing the Gospel by staying involved as a prayer partner, joining the Bezeugen Tract Club, or attending a seminar. I also invite you to forward this article to your friends that would be interested in these same things. An archive of this past issues of this newsletter is available on our website.

But, if not, you can use the safe unsubscribe below.

God Bless,
