WRC is fortunate to have two fabulous interns this year: Marisa and Reynell! Reynell Price (right) is a junior in the Bachelor of Social Work program at Eastern University. She began her internship at WRC in January and will be here through April 2011! She is a native of Landisville, New Jersey who chose social work due to a personal desire to do something that would make a difference in someone's life and a love of people, especially children. Reynell will graduate in May of 2012 and hopes to start her career in child welfare. She puts in her hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays , doing everything from administrative work to assisting with the Career Program, Single Moms groups and Girls Leadership.
Marisa Capobianco (Left), began her career at WRC as a phone volunteer starting in 2009. Over time, she became more involved in the organization. She decided to pursue a dual Masters of Social Service and Master of Law & Social Policy at Bryn Mawr College. Lucky for us, Marisa chose WRC for her first internship (Sept '10-May '11). Marisa coordinates our legal program, does drop-in and low-cost counseling and information & referral. A part-time student and mother of triplets and a four-year-old, Marisa leads an active lifestyle that allows her to fulfill a desire to care for people, both within and outside her family.
