Your Strengths: Identify, Understand and Put Them to Work
|
Participants learn more about the strength-based approach to managing their careers. Photo by Bowden Photographics
|
On Wednesday July 14th volunteers from SEI Workforce Development Team, Right Management and WRC came together to offer a one-time workshop called Your Strengths: Identify, Understand and Put Them to Work.
Twenty-five participants took the Clifton StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment to learn their Top 5 strengths, using books donated by SEI. Then, after a great introduction to the strengths-based approach, women split into smaller groups to work on networking skills. Everyone had a chance to meet with one of SEI and Right Management's counselors to learn more about their Top 5 strengths.
In addition to volunteering their time and expertise, members of the SEI Workforce Development Team also provided delicious snacks and beverages.
