In Memory of Linda Rice
LindaRice
The Women's Resource Center lost a good friend and dedicated volunteer when Linda Rice passed away last month. Linda truly understood the value of giving back. During her 3 1/2 years at WRC she provided valuable administrative support and was always looking for ways she could help the center, other volunteers and staff.

Linda's compassion and sensitivity shone through in everything she did. We'd often hear her asking "What do you need?" and "How can I help?" She did not limit her generosity to the Women's Resource Center. She was the Founder, Past President, and Board Member of Temple Brith Achim.  She tutored at the Upper Merion Caley Road School and worked with the Executive Director at Wings For Success.  Linda also served her community politically, helping out on election day and working on political campaigns.

We will miss Linda's bright smile and enthusiasm for community service.  Her contributions will continue to have an impact on WRC for years to come, and will serve as a reminder of what an amazing woman she was.

In memory of Linda, the WRC is establishing a scholarship fund for women who have emergency needs or who cannot afford a program fee. To learn more about contributing to the The Linda Rice Emergency Services Fund click here or call 610-687-6415.
