For more than 30 years, the Women's Resource Center (WRC) has been a beacon of light for Delaware Valley women experiencing crises or life transitions including abuse, homelessness, job loss, single parenthood, depression, divorce, and deprivation of basic needs.
At the Center, women from all over the region find compassionate, experienced staff and volunteers trained to help others live healthier, more fulfilled lives through information, education and support.
Last year the Center served more than 4,000 women - many from low income backgrounds and in need - through core programs such as Single Mothers Support, as well as our extensive referral network. WRC's Girls Leadership Program works with middle school girls to encourage self-esteem, positive decision making and career planning. As a non-profit organization, we rely exclusively on donations from individuals, businesses and foundations to continue the Center's essential programs and services.
