Thanksgiving for the Life of
Bob Steger
After a valiant fight against cancer, Bob Steger passed away peacefully late Monday night, after having been blessed and surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Bob has been a faithful member of Emmanuel, involved in Cursillo, Marriage Encounter, Vestry, Life in the Spirit, Home Group fellowship, and countless other ministries and groups in the parish. With a crazy (and sometimes blush-inducing!) sense of humor, matched with a heart of gold, Bob made friends wherever he went and impacted countless numbers of people through his genuine care and friendship.
We will miss you Bob! Now that you are reunited with Janet, we know that you are rejoicing and enjoying the company of angels and archangels. May you go from glory to glory in God's kingdom.
May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Million Meals Followup!
Many, many thanks to all those who donated pennies, nickels, dimes,
quarters, currency, and checks to Million Meals. Between Sunday, September 18, and Sunday, September 25, parishioners donated $569.23. (That's approximately 8,132 meals for the hungry!) With food banks low, your generosity will help families in real need.
