Deanery BBQ
(a message from Mimi Grant, our Deanery President)
It's Summer Barbecue Time!
On Saturday, July 16th, St. Paul's, Tustin, will be hosting Deanery IX's Annual Summer Barbecue, from 2 to 4 pm. Everyone in the Deanery is welcome to participate! Bring your yard games such as badminton, bocce ball croquet, horseshoes, lawn darts, ring toss, volleyball, and/or a sturdy rope for tug of war of jump rope. Or enjoy a quiet game of cards or a board games under the shady trees in St. Paul's beautiful "back yard." Master Barbecue Chefs will provide the hot dogs and hamburgers and everyone attending from all 12 of our churches will provide the fun! By the way this will be a great way to introduce your friends to the "fun side" of the Episcopal Church!

A thank you and new address from Minako
Dear Father Rob,
What a blessing it was to have you and Mo Lyn at the memorial on Saturday.
Emmanuel gave Joji and I a wonderful, memorable and nurturing place for our souls and spirit, specially the first few years of our marriage. Wed AM eucharist and new year's eve eucharist are some of the fondest memories there. I know you were a tremendous inspiration to Joji and myself, as you use for gifts in so many areas, so naturally and so openly.
Thank you for being in our lives. God bless you, Mo Lyn and all the Emmanuelites. We love you all very much.
