VMNA NEEDS YOUR HELP:
VMNA is still searching for a Strawberry Festival chairperson. Strawberry Festival is a long standing Village Mill tradition and VMNA's main fundraiser for the year. The whole neighborhood comes together to help run this special event, but we need an organizer. Please consider teaming up with a friend and chairing this important event!
VMNA is also looking for a volunteer to chair the Garage Sale and Ladies Fall Lunch.

Village Mill Spring Work Day
The Village Mill Spring Work Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 1st beginning at 8 am. Please bring your shovels, rakes, gloves, spades, wheelbarrows, brooms, etc.
Whether you live in the neighborhood or are an associate member, we all enjoy the pool and grounds during the year and appreciate everyone's participation. There is a tremendous amount of work needed to keep our pool and grounds in the best possible condition. Come join your friends and meet some new ones! If you are unable to attend the work day you can still help. Consider donating some plants, or making a monetary donation to VMCI to help with the purchase of supplies. Come out and help keep our pool and tennis grounds and facilities looking as attractive as possible. VMCI will provide coffee & doughnuts for all workers in the morning, and pizza & soft drinks for lunch.
In case of inclement weather, a make-up work day will be posted on the Village Mill website and an email sent to all newsletter recipients. Please contact Joel Lorden with any questions. jel@eastmanfinancial.com
Remember, this is our neighborhood and we need your help! |

We hope all of you that came on Sunday had a chance to see our awesome coaches - thank you Addie, Nicole and Peter for coming to help support our Vipers during registration. If you didn't get a chance to sign up for private lessons with them, you can email me and I will add your kids names to their list. You can also sign up with them once practice starts. We will have the same suits this year so if your kids can still wear their suit from last year you will not need to order a new one. We have lots of great new spirit wear this year so don't forget to place your order if you haven't already. Thanks and Go Vipers!!

Social News from Tara:
Pool season is around the corner and it is time to plan for our annual family beach party! Mark your calendars for Friday evening, May 21st. Details to follow. Tara
looks forward to coordinating the party, however she will need 3 or 4 volunteers to help her with the event. Please let Tara know if you plan to attend and would like to help out!

Animal News:
Please remember to keep your dogs on leashes and your cats confined to your yard. Also, parents need to watch their youngsters around other neighborhood pets and make sure they do not touch them unless the owner is around. Pets are unpredictable and we never know when they may snap at, or scratch someone. |
