 Six Months on the Rez!

Greetings!

As we begin this new year eagerly anticipating all that God has in store for us, we'd also like to take this opportunity to praise Him for our first six months here on the reservation! We're excited for what this new year has in store and for the opportunity to see how God uses this ministry in the lives of the Native American children through our children's home as well as through our ongoing outreach to the White Mountain Apache tribe in Cibecue, Arizona.

We would especially like to thank those of you who have joined us in being the "hands and feet of Christ" through your prayers and financial support!  Please know that we could not do any of this without your help!

We would also like to acknowledge the fact that some of you may no longer feel led to partner with us, and that's ok! PLEASE, take a moment to consider a couple of things:

1. If you are a regular prayer or financial partner...please shoot us a quick note to let us know how you're doing. We would LOVE to hear from you!

2. Our email list has been compiled from over 8 years of ministry. Be honest, if you'd like to be removed from this list, please click the link at the bottom of this email and it will automatically remove you. There will be no hard feelings nor will we hunt you down. You've been a blessing to us, and we might save some money in communication costs by having our list accurately represent those of you who faithfully follow what God is doing through this ministry. Thanks!

As we reflect on our first six months of ministry here on the Rez, we're amazed at the many doors that have been opened to us and we are grateful for the opportunities to pour into so many children's lives!  We're becoming very well known and well received in the community of Cibecue, primarily through our special outreach events and through our regular visits to Cibecue in our Apache Kids mobile ministry RV.  Each week we are there, the kids come from all over to spend the day with us.  We also just held our very first Christmas outreach event in Cibecue.   We had a team of wonderful servants from Virginia and Arkansas join us this year in sharing the love of Christ with these children by providing food, fun, Christmas gifts and lots of love for the children!

This coming year, we would like to ask you to join us in prayer for a couple of things that God has laid upon our hearts.

First: That we might be able to obtain a permanent ministry facility in Cibecue.  We're hoping to find favor with the tribe so that they might allow us to use an existing building in Cibecue or offer us the use of a small piece of property where we could build.  Ideally, we would like to be able to obtain an existing building, even if we would have to completely refurbish it.  There are quite a few run-down buildings in Cibecue that could be great possibilities with a little TLC, which would allow us to save money rather than building from the ground up.

Second: Please pray for our Native American children's home!  Each weekend and during school breaks, we pick up needy kids in Cibecue for a stay at our Apache Kids ranch.  God has been using these opportunities in amazing ways, and we've seen several of these kids ask Christ into their hearts as a result.  We're also becoming licensed by both the Navajo and Apache tribes so that we can take in abused and neglected girls on a full-time basis into our Apache Kids children's home.  While we're excited about these opportunities, the reality is that they will greatly increase the day-to-day financial needs of the ministry.  As we've shared with you previously, giving has been down almost 75% for well over a year now, and while we will continue to do our best to be faithful with what God has provided, it will take a miracle of God's hand if we are to open up the children's home as well as the permanent ministry facility in Cibecue!  However, we do believe that God is faithful, and that He will supply all that we need in His timing through faithful people if we are to complete this task!

Please pray as God leads you for these and other opportunities presented to us here on the reservation as we seek to serve the "least of these" in Jesus' name.

In Him,

Brad & Lesli Bieganski
