Greetings!
Love, Peace, and Fry-bread Grease!
As we navigated the narrow streets of the Apache village of Cibecue this past Sunday evening, dropping off kids in our mobile ministry center RV, a thirteen-year-old girl, Rikanda, handed me a note that simply said, "Thanks for bringing me to the ranch for the weekend - love, peace and fry-bread grease!" Rikanda is just one of many young Apache kids from Cibecue that has stayed at our ranch since we've opened up our home to minister to these kids. Rikanda comes from a very difficult family situation and she jumps at the opportunity to come to the ranch each week, and it has been encouraging for us to see a spark of hope in her eyes when she comes. Rikanda is a bright girl with tons of potential, and our goal is to continually point her to a loving God who has an incredible plan for her life.
Last week, the kids in Cibecue were off school for the week, so we took advantage of the opportunity and brought several of the kids out to the ranch for ten straight days. During those ten hectic, fun-filled, wonderful and sometimes crazy days, we were able to spend quality time with each of the twelve kids, sharing how God loves them and that He wants to have a personal relationship with them. Many of these kids come from very dysfunctional families where feelings of love and acceptance are non-existent or often unexpressed, and their eyes light up when they're told that there is a God who loves them just as they are. This week alone, we had two of our girls respond by asking Jesus into their hearts!
We're also continuing our weekly mobile ministry outreach each Sunday afternoon at the community center in Cibecue, and each week we have more kids showing up. Our RV is filled beyond capacity each week and we've come to realize that it is time to pursue a larger facility. We're scheduled to meet with the local tribal leaders this Tuesday evening in Cibecue and we hope to be able to secure a full-time facility for our Apache Kids ministry. Please pray for this meeting!
Reality Check: While God has been opening incredible doors of opportunity with these kids, the sad reality is that we've often been limited in what we can do each week simply because we've run out of money. We've had to limit the amount of kids we can bring to the ranch each week and we often run out of food at the community center simply because the funds aren't there. We're doing the best we can with what we have to work with, and it breaks our hearts to turn any of these kids away. Giving was already down over 70% for the year before we moved the ministry to Arizona this past July. While we've managed to cut our expenses considerably since moving, giving has been down even further over these past few months, and it greatly affects our ability to reach these kids for Christ.
Christmas Outreach 2010: Christmas is just around the corner and we'll be hosting this year's event for the Kingdom Flight Apache Kids in Cibecue, Arizona on December 16-19. Our goal is to collect 500 gift boxes for the kids, and we need your help! Please consider picking up a few extra gifts for our kids the next time you go shopping for your own children and send them to us at: Kingdom Flight, P.O. Box 1016, Pinedale, AZ, 85934. We also have a few spots left if you would like to join us for this year's four-day event. Click here for more information.
We continue to be humbled and blessed to be able to take part in what God is doing here on the Rez! We truly appreciate your prayers and financial support for our ministry to the Apache children of Cibecue. We know that God is faithful, He is still sovereign, and we look forward to all the ministry opportunities God will provide in the coming days. In Him,
Brad & Lesli Bieganski
"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?" Romans 10:14-15

| We've recently outgrown the kid capacity of our Apache Kids mobile ministry center and we're hoping to secure a permanent facility in Cibecue, Arizona. Cibecue is located in the remote Western mountains on the Fort Apache Indian reservation.
