Greetings from Pinedale, Arizona!

Greetings!

In our last eNewsletter, we shared how we felt led to move the ministry to Eastern Arizona to live among, and minister to, the Apache and Navajo Indians.  What we didn't share was the fact that we had absolutely no financial resources for such a move, only the strong leading that we were to proceed in faith, trusting that God would provide.  We were amazed and humbled to see how God provided through faithful people who gave sacrificially each step of the way to make this move a reality!  God provided a home for us on a 27-acre horse ranch in beautiful Pinedale, Arizona, and the monthly expenses will be substantially less than the rent we paid for our California home!  We have plenty of room to take in the many Native American foster children we'll be receiving through the Navajo and Apache tribes.  We're already well into the certification process with both tribes, and may even have our first placement on the way.  More on this in our next eNewsletter.

Another exciting opportunity is our new Apache children's ministry center opportunity in Cibecue, Arizona. Cibecue is located in the remote Western mountains of the Fort Apache Indian reservation.  Watching God open up doors of favor has been amazing in the last week. We drove down to the reservation to pick up the foster care application from the Social Services worker, and while we were talking with her, we described what we would like to do to help the children of the White Mountain Apache Tribe through an after-school program and ministry center.  After several moments, she said she would like us to meet her boss, the Social Services director for the tribe.  We had a great conversation with the director and she told us of the great need for hope for her people, and told us of a specific town that is remote and often is neglected when others are blessed, which happened to be Cibecue.  While she was describing the people and need in Cibecue, she decided to call the office of the Chairman of the tribe, and proceeded to walk us over to his office, where we were greeted warmly and got to meet with tribal leadership.  Another phone call ensued, and we had an appointment for the next morning with a former tribal council member who lives in Cibecue and would help us in any way possible to set up a place for us to start working with kids in an after-school program.  This past Monday, we drove out to Cibecue to see it for ourselves, and we are excited at all the opportunities God is putting before us.  We laughed on our way home, thinking how absolutely impossible it would have been for us to try to get all these contacts and appointments in our own strength, but that God just rolled it all out when we stepped out in faith to go pick up an application to take in kids!  We thank Him for favor, and can't wait to share what He does next.

Update: Yesterday was the launch of our very first Apache Kids outreach at the community center in Cibecue!  We had a team of 56 wonderful servants from New Covenant Church in Austin, Texas join us in kicking off this new and exciting ministry opportunity.  Here's a link to a photo album and check out this very special moment from the event in this short video.

Our goal is to open the center twice each week initially as resources become available. As we shared in our last email, giving has been down over 70% for well over a year now, and even with the extremely limited funds, God has continued to show himself strong in what we've been able to accomplish.  The need continues to be great and even more so now with the opening of our children's home, and the opening of our Apache Kids ministry center.  We trust in God completely for our resources, but we also believe in sharing the need because we know that God uses faithful people to meet those needs. This continues to be a huge step of faith for us on every level, but we are confident that as we follow His leading, He will provide the resources, strength and wisdom as they are required.

In Him,

Brad & Lesli Bieganski
