Greetings!
Happy Autumn! We wanted to give you an update on all the recent goings-on with Kingdom Flight. Despite an ever-escalating number of murders in Juarez due to the drug cartel wars (over 1600 in 2009 so far), the doors of Una Esperanza Juarez remain open and children are given the hope that Jesus loves them and has not forgotten them. Although we personally are unable to visit Juarez due to kidnapping threats, we are encouraged that God has provided a wonderful Mexican national, Raquel, who valiantly leads the weekly ministry at the ministry center. While we have no idea when or if the violence in Juarez will abate, we are keeping our eyes on Jesus, and will follow His lead on continuing to minister there. We were so blessed to have a wonderful summer of ministry with our local Southern California O.C. Kids ministry, which included weekly beach Bible studies, fun field trips, hanging out at our home on the weekends, and even a few camping trips up in the Sequoia National Forest, which was a first for many of the kids. The camping trips in particular were a wonderful opportunity for engaging in soul-searching conversations with the kids on a one-on-one basis, and we praise God for all that He is doing in their hearts to draw them to Him. It was great to get them (and us!) away from any modern technology for a while and just concentrate on God and His creation, and to build relationships with each other. We will be heading down to Oaxaca, Mexico, in the very southern-most part of Mexico, next week for ten days to host an outreach ministry to kids in a small coastal fishing village and to children of inmates of a local prison in a town nearby. We're very excited to see where God leads with all of this. We'll be working alongside Agape Mission Projects International, who have been working with pastors down in this part of Mexico for about 22 years, and our focus will be looking into the possibility of establishing an Una Esperanza children's shelter down in this area. We're looking forward to all that God has in store for us, and we ask for your prayers as God puts us on your heart, prayers for protection, discernment, clarity and for no illness. We feel so blessed to be following a Savior who loves us and includes us in His work, and we are grateful that He has brought you into our lives as partners in sharing His gospel. God bless you always. In Him,
Brad & Lesli Bieganski "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how
can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can
they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach
unless they are sent?" Romans 10:14-15
