So many, so close, so lost!
Greetings!
You're probably aware that the primary goal of Kingdom Flight is in reaching the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico for Christ. There are roughly 70,000 Tarahumara, most of whom live in the Copper Canyon area 250 miles south of the Una Esperanza ministry center in Kilometer 33. Surprisingly, in spite of the close proximity to the U.S., many of these 70,000 Tarahumara have never heard the gospel!
The Una Esperanza community is home to roughly 250 Tarahumara and is unique in that there are very few Tarahumara outside of the Copper Canyon area at all. They are for the most part a very closed and reclusive indigenous group. Our goal has been to equip the Tarahumara believers of Kilometer 33 to reach their own people for Christ. We are focused on training the children, and believe that by reaching this next generation, we can help to break the endless cycle of hopelessness so prevalent amongst the Tarahumara. Kingdom Flight also mentors children in South Orange County, California through the Una Esperanza O.C. Kids ministry. God has not only brought these Una Esperanza O.C. Kids into our lives, but He has also given us immeasurable joy through knowing these children. The relationships that we've developed with these kids are priceless! They each have their own unique personalities and gifts, and it's an incredible blessing to watch them grow in their faith.
We covet your prayers and financial gifts, and please know that we couldn't do what we do without your faithfulness!

The vast majority of an estimated 70,000 Tarahumara Indians live remotely in the Copper Canyon area of Mexico. Copper Canyon is five times the size of Grand Canyon and encompasses over 50,000 square miles!

Mission opportunity!
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19
"Go!" These were the very last instructions from our Lord before He ascended into heaven.
Kingdom Flight offers a great opportunity to "Go" for those who may have never been on a mission trip before. Please consider joining us for our annual Christmas outreach event at Una Esperanza in Juarez, Mexico this December 18-21. Through this event, you'll have the opportunity to become the hands and feet of Christ as we reach out to "the least of these" during this Christmas season. We'll be staying at the Best Western Hotel in El Paso,Texas and driving across the border to Una Esperanza each day during this four-day event. Each day we host a medical clinic, provide crafts, games, Bible lessons, and a gospel presentation to the children. We then distribute hundreds of gifts to needy children during the Saturday Christmas fiesta event.
The cost of this trip is $70 per night for the hotel room which can accommodate up to four, the cost of meals, plus a $45 per person registration fee to help us offset our expenses. You will also want to budget for the cost of personal transportation to and from El Paso, Texas. We encourage individuals, families, and groups to attend this event and we're confident that it will bless you incredibly!

We need your help! We need churches, Bible study groups and businesses to partner with us in collecting toys for our annual Kingdom Flight Christmas outreach event at the Una Esperanza ministry center in Juarez, Mexico. Our goal this year is to collect 500 gift boxes filled with toys and gifts for the children.
Your part is easy - fill a shoebox or bag with gifts (including at least one toy valued at $10 or more), include a donation of at least $5 to cover shipping for each box or bag, and drop them off at a sponsoring church, business, or mail them to us. We then deliver the gifts to Una Esperanza in Juarez and they are distributed to hundreds of smiling faces during the event.

The Una Esperanza O.C. Kids

In the summer of 2006, I was asked to lead a group of children in our hometown during a church-sponsored Vacation Bible School (VBS). I must say that I really wasn't all that interested at the time.
