Speak Up for Marriage Equality
URGENT ACTION NEEDED
 The full State Senate and Assembly are planning to vote on A1/S1, the "Marriage Equality and Religious Exemption Act", next week (February 13th and 16th) and the League of Women Voters of New Jersey is asking all of our members and supporters to call your state legislators and urge them to vote YES. Please speak out in support of marriage equality to help our state take this important step towards ending discrimination.
Your calls can make a difference! Legislators need to hear from their constituents on this important issue.
 TAKE ACTION TODAY
Call your state Senators and Assembly members and urge them to vote Yes on Marriage Equality, A1/S1 .
These calls will only take a few minutes of your time. We suggest saying the following:
"As a member (or supporter) of the League of Women Voters of New Jersey and a constituent in your district, I urge the Senator/Assembly member to show his or her support for Marriage Equality and vote yes on A1/S1 when it comes to the floor for a vote. Thank you for your time."
