MUSIC: Attending the Sauti za Busara music festival on the tropical island of Zanzibar is an unforgettable way to discover Tanzania. Held in historic Stone Town, the 5-day festival features some of the best music in Africa with over 400 musicians participating. Sauti za Busara brings people together in celebration of music from East Africa and beyond.

 
MOUNTAIN: Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, reaching 19,340 feet. The non-technical Machame trekking route can be accomplished by anyone in good physical condition. This most popular route and one of the most scenic routes on the mountain has the highest summit success rate.

MIGRATION: During February you will witness the annual migration of wildebeest, one of the most spectacular events in the world. A 5-day lodge safari allows visitors to go on daily game drives and experience local cultural visits. The lodges have the best locations to see the migration and offer evening entertainment.

MARATHON: Starting and ending in Moshi, the Kilimanjaro Marathon attracts adventurous runners from all over the world. The course follows paved roads with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro at an average altitude of 3000 feet above sea level. Local villagers cheer on runners as they race through villages, farms, plantations, and forests.  Not a marathon runner? Hakuna matata! (Swahili for "no worries") - You can participate in the half marathon or 5k run held at the same time.
