The Snow is falling right now and will be for the next three days.  The forecast has been all over the grid but we should have between 12 to 30 inches by the end of the storm sometime over the weekend.  The fresh snow will be greatly received by all Mt Abram skiers and riders, no matter how much it ends up being.  Stay connected throughout the week and check out the trail report for the most up-to date info Here.   

Next years season pass is now on sale for all of those who don't have one yet this year. Buy by March 2nd and get FREE skiing for the rest of the 2009/10 season. Details for current season pass holders will be out on March 2nd so stay tuned. This weekend is the MPA Shoot out, full moon hike and reggae music in the LBL. Thursday - February 25th
2 for 1 Lift Tickets - Free After Three
Two for the price of one at the door on all full day lift tickets. Can't get out of work early enough then head to the slopes for a few runs at the end of the day on us!  Just swing into the ticket office to grab your free lift ticket after 3PM. 
 
Friday  - February 26th
Carload Caravan
$75 includes a ticket for each passenger legally seated in a passenger car, SUV or minivan. No buses, RV's, Box trucks or large vans. Pull in and one of our staff will verify eligibility.  
 
Saturday  - February 27th
MPA Shoot out (ski race)

This is Maine's best High School Racers compete head to head in the last race of the season. 
7:00am to 8:00am is Registration, 7:30am is Team captains meeting, 9:00am is the first run GS followed by Slalom in the afternoon.

Consumer Demo Day

Try next year's gear on the snow for FREE.  We will have many industry representatives from companies like Dynastar, Fischer, Atomic, K2, Rossignol, Stockli, Kastle, Nordica, Swix, and Uvex on snow for you try out all the new gear for the price of a lift ticket.
 
Full Moon Hike
A guided winter hike to the peak of Mt Abram to view a spectacular full moon.   The group meets at the base area at 5:15pm with a prompt departure to the top at 5:30pm.  Gear is transported to the summit so you can focus on taking in all of the night sights. Then its hiker's choice of descent of the mountain whether by foot or by ski for upper intermediates to experts only.  Approximately round trip time of 2.5 hours.  No advance reservation required but recommended by calling 875-5000 ext. 315 or email. 

Live Music in the Loose Boots Lounge 7PM - "Brand New Mixture"
Mt Abram's favorite Reggae Band will be back to get us moving on the dance floor.  "Brand New Mixture"  plays a mix of Rock, Roots, Reggae and Jazz.  This is an event not to miss as this is there last visit to LBL for the season.

Snowmobile Hill Climb #2 - Our second installment of motorized sports onhill at Mt Abram is an action packed event that is not to miss. (March 20th)
