The snowmaking efforts that went through last week made for some great corduroy runs this past weekend and will keep getting better with every pass of the groomer.  Some weather models are still showing a snow storm around for the middle of the week so some fresh snow could be in play by the weekend.  Stay connected throughout the week and check out the trail report for the most up-to date info Here.   

This week is chock full of events but the hottest deal going this vacation week is Thursday is 2 for 1 lift tickets and free after three and Carload Friday for $75 will still be available.   Check out all of the events below for full details.

Thursday - February 11th
2 for 1 Lift Tickets - Free After Three
Two for the price of one at the door on all full day lift tickets. Can't get out of work early enough then head to the slopes for a few runs at the end of the day on us!  Just swing into the ticket office to grab your free lift ticket after 3PM. 
  
Friday  - February 12th 
Carload Caravan
$75 includes a ticket for each passenger legally seated in a passenger car, SUV or minivan. No buses, RV's, Box trucks or large vans. Pull in and one of our staff will verify eligibility.  
 
Divas Ski Program
Girls will be ruling Mt Abram's slopes with this year's ski divas program set for three Friday's. The Divas program will focus on Women's ski skills coached by women for women only.  The divas program includes lift ticket, lunch and lesson and that is from 10:30am to 1:30PM.  The dates are 2/12, 2/26 and 3/5. The price is $100 for all three sessions or $40 per week.  Contact snow sports school to make your reservations here or by calling 207-875-5000 ext 312.
 
Friday Night Lights Racing
High & Middle school ski racing in Maine has called Mt Abram home on Friday nights this season.  The first racer will start at  5:00 pm and the racing takes approximately 2 hours. This week's racing will be middle school programs from Tripp, Hebron, Mountain Valley, MSAD #58, Lake Region, Auburn, and Oxford Hills. Come check out the ski racing action.
 
Friday Night Dinner Special in the Loose Boots Lounge
Chef Kenny will be turning on the Magic in the kitchen on Friday Night with a special dinner entree. This week's entree will be Grilled Prime Rib for $12.95.   
 
Saturday - February 13th  
Kids Nite Out
Skiing keeps adults and children entertained all day long. But what about after the lifts close? Well, here is another option. Your child can join a fun filled evenings that will include outdoor or indoor activities, arts and crafts, movies, video games and dinner. Kid's Night Out allows both parents and their children to enjoy the best of Mt Abram.  All children ages 4 to 12 are able to participate and enjoy the night on their own. The cost is just $12 per child or $30 for a family for the full evening.  Reservations are strongly encouraged.  For more information or to sign up for Kid's Nite Out, stop by the third floor in the lodge or call 207.875.5000 ext 315. 
 
Ski Country Buffet
The only slopeside buffet in ski country on Saturday nights.  The Pasta buffet goes from 6 to 8pm and is only $5.95 per person and $7.95 for a two trip through the buffet plan, tax & gratuity not included 
 
Live Music from the Rollins, Tyoe & Hobson band
The RTH band will be rocking the loose boots well into the night on Saturday.  Music starts around 7:30pm.  RTB plays many different genres of music from rock, blues and soul. 
 
Sunday - February 14th
Maine Ski Challenge and Valentine's Day Couples Race
This ski race is open to all ages and all abilities.  This race series will be happening every Sunday from 1pm to 3pm on the bottom of Boris. It easy to register at the top of the course is only $4 for two runs.  The race series is presented by Sam's Italian shop, Pepsi and Mt Abram.  Come out and have fun! Couples will have the chance to see who is the fastest for prizes as well.
 
Annual Torchlight Parade & Family Pasta Night
The torchlight Parade will begin at 6pm front and center on Boris.  An all you can eat Family Spaghetti Dinner in the main lodge.  The Minimum donation is $5 per person for the Mt Abram Ski Club and pot luck desserts are welcome.
 
Monday - February 15th
Eli's Root beer Scavenger Hunt
Mt Abram will be having a scavenger hunt on the slopes of Westside from 1 to 3pm.  Eli's Root Beer will be at Westside doing some sampling all day.
 
Tuesday - February 16th
MPA class A State Championship Ski race - GS
Maine's best high school racers will be battling it out in the Giant Slalom event.  Racing starts at 9am 
 
Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Celebration
The last day of Mardi Gras is a time to feast and celebrate.  The Loose Boots Lounge will have giveaways with New Orleans Themes floating around throughout the evening.  For the kids, you can build their own Mardi Gras Masks in the Mini Max Theater.  
 
Wednesday - February 17th
MPA class A State Championship Ski race - Sl
Maine's best high school racers will be battling it out in the slalom event.  Racing starts at 9am and awards will immediately follow the conclusion of the race.
 
Obstacle Course 
We will have a fun Obstacle course for the kids at West side from 1 to 3pm.  Contact Kevin for details

Annual David Gilpatrick & Sandy Fitch Memorial Ski Race
Honoring dedicated Patrollers & friends who embodied and created the family spirit of Mt. Abram. $10 Entry Fee benefits Maine Cancer Foundation. Prizes awarded at Annual Auction, or buy your place on the Liar's Cup!
 
Annual Ski Club Auction
5:00 p.m. at Loose Boots Lounge Get your seats early and don't miss this annual event! All proceeds benefit the Mt Abram Ski Club.
 
Night Tubing
The tubing park will be open up at night from 5 to 9pm.  Cost is Only $10 per person for the whole night session.
 
Sunday - February 21st
Tel-Daze
The New England Telemark Association along with Tele Maine has a one day festival installment for all of you tele skiers or want to be tele skiers.  For the price of a lift ticket you can get instruction and rentals of telemark gear for free, that's right free!  Check into the ticket office to grab your ticket and reserve your lesson time.  For more info on tele daze go to netelemark.com 
Card Board Box Race
