New Years Eve Bash
The Mt Abram NYE bash will feature music from "Brand New Mixture" a reggae, jazz, calypso band that will keep you on the dance floor all night long. Miller Lite will be giving away "Boston Bruins" Tickets as well as other goodies throughout the night. A social hour will start the evening that will flow into an elegant dinner buffet. " the Brand New mixture will keep it rocking until the fireworks help us all ring in the new year at midnight. Advanced reservations for dinner & party are required as space is limited. This event did sell out last year, so don't wait to buy! Cost before 12/29 is $80 a couple and $50 individual for dinner & party. After 12/29 $100 per couple or $60 individual. $10 for Party after 9PM. Reservation can be made at the 3rd floor office or by calling 207-875-5000
Friday - January 1st
Carload Caravan
Yes even during the holiday's! $75 includes a ticket for each passenger legally seated in a passenger car, SUV or minivan. No buses, RV's, Box trucks or large vans. Pull in and one of our staff will verify eligibility.
Saturday - January 2nd
Full Moon Hike
A guided winter hike to the peak of Mt Abram to view a spectacular full moon. The group meets at the base area at 5:15pm with a prompt departure to the top at 5:30pm. Gear is transported to the summit so you can focus on taking in all of the night sights Then it hikers choice of descent of the mountain whether by foot or by ski for upper intermediate to experts only. Approximately round trip time of 2.5 hours, No advance reservation required but recommended by calling 875-5000 ext. 315 or email kevinr@mtabram.com
Ski Country Buffet
The only slopeside buffet in ski country on Saturday nights. The buffet goes from 6 to 8pm and is only $10.95 per person and $13.95 for a two trip through the buffet plan, tax & gratuity not included.
Live music in the Loose Boot- RTB Band
The RTB plus band will be rocking the Loose boots restaurant and Après Ski bar. The band will begin around 7:30Pm and will take us into the night with tunes of classic rock, blues and some originals.
Sunday January 3rd
USCSA Snowboard GS& SL
USCSA will be hosting a giant slalom & slalom event on the trails of Mt Abram on Sunday. USCSA is the largest snowboard organization in the United States and has produced more Olympic athletes than any other mountain series. Registration is at 7:30-9:00 in the Mt Abram Base Lodge, Warm-up / GS Course Inspection: 9:00-10:00 , GS Racing: 10:30-11:30, SL Racing: 12:45-1:45, Awards: 2:30 (Lodge). $40 for racers from away and $30 if you have a Mt Abram pass.
