Greetings from Mt. Abram,
The fresh snow this past weekend and the scheduled storm on this Wednesday is a great start to the month and a welcoming start to the winter season in the western mountains of Maine. The cold temperatures have seemed to set in and will be allowing our snowmaking team to make some great coverage over the coming days. They have been hammering the snow guns on the top of the mountain since noon on Sunday and will continue around the clock preparing us for our December 19th opening.
This week is a great opportunity to get your season pass photo. The office will be open from 9am to 4pm, Monday thru Saturday so you don't wait until Saturday the 19th to get your pass photo when you can get it done ahead of time and can focus on making first tracks of the season. Stop into the Loose Boots Restaurant and Après-ski Bar this weekend if you're headed up to open the ski house or preparing your equipment for opening weekend. The Lounge will be open on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm.

Loose Boots Lounge
Friday - December 11th - 4:00pm to 10:00pm

The restaurant will be open for burgers and pizzas until 9PM each night. This a great opportunity to sign up and get your 2010 Gritty's Mug Club Membership and try some of the fresh new beers on tap for the season in the lounge.

Tin Mountain Round up
Sunday - December 20th 2009
Bring 5 or more canned or non perishable food items to donate to the "Good Shepherd Food-Bank" and receive a $25 ticket for skiing or riding on Sunday December 20, 2009. All items will need to be dropped off in the ticket concourse on the first floor and that is where you can purchase your discounted lift tickets. What a great time of year to give back before the holiday's. Lifts will be open from 9am to 4pm.
