So, as naming experts, we need your help. Our new monthly e-newsletter needs a name. Put your thinking caps on and submit your ideas via email to Courtney Powers or at our pet-friendly social this week. The board will select the winning name and the winner will receive a free drink ticket at our next social - deadline March 8 .

Volunteers needed to staff event table and promote the Jacksonville Humane Society and The Pawfessionals.

JHS opportunities: The Jacksonville Humane Society offers many rewarding hands-on volunteer opportunities, which require volunteer orientation and training. Learn more.

Each community partner receives recognition through social media, our website and on singage at various events for a year, the length of a community partner contract. National Pet Dental Hygiene Month
Dental Hygiene is important for your pet's overall health. Most people take very good care of their own teeth by brushing twice a day and getting them professionally cleaned once or twice yearly. Unfortunately, The American Veterinary Dental Society (AVDS) estimates 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have signs of dental disease by age three. Learn more about dental hygiene.

My Furry Valentine - February Social at Hotel Indigo
Don't miss The Pawfessionals First Pet-friendly Social, "My Furry Valentine" this Wednesday, February 17 at the Hotel Indigo, 9480 Tapestry Park Circle, from 6-8 p.m.
Members get in free and non-members get in for only $10. Guests receive one happy hour drink ticket & hors d'oeuvres and may purchase additional drinks and appetizers from the outside bar at happy hour pricing until 9 p.m. (Choose from $2.50 Yuengling and Blue Moon, $3.00 Calls, $5 house wines and select martinis.)

Need a potty break? Pet butlers will be available to watch pets. Just look for a board member with a green Pawfessionals nametag.
We are seeking talent!
The Pawfessionals are always looking for musicians to donate their time and talent to play at our socials. In turn, musicians will receive a free bar tab at the event they play and a free one-year membership to the Pawfessionals. If you would like to be considered, please email Lynn Kennedy with your information including music samples and/or website.
