This month we decided to spotlight Miss Kitty and Sweetie, but we have so many special furry faces. Visit our adoption center at JHS or online today to find your one-of-a-kind-pet!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PET SPOTLIGHT

Say hello to Miss Kitty! She is a three-year-old Domestic Shorthair. Miss Kitty likes attention but also likes her solitude. She has beautiful green eyes and loves to have her head rubbed! She can be a little nervous around children and would do best in a home with no small children. Please come in today and see if Miss Kitty can be the newest member of your family.
The cat of the week can be adopted for only $25. You will also receive a free cardboard pet carrier, cat blanket and goodie bag. For information call (904) 725-8766, Ext. 214 or visit our Adoption Center.

Sweetie
This girl is named Sweetie and that is exactly what she is....a sweetie! She is a one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Sweetie was abandoned on JHS property and was in pretty bad shape. It took about two months, but our medical staff took great care of her and now she is better than ever! Sweetie is very smart and will do tricks for treats. She loves to give hugs and kisses too! Sweetie may be too active for small children and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Please come in today and see for yourself how sweet she really is!!
The Dog of the Week can be adopted for only $25. We will also offer $10 off the required purchase of heartworm prevention, a bag of treats and a toy.
--- For information on how to adopt a furry friend, please visit our online adoption center or call 904.725.8766 Ext. 214.

Spooner is really enjoying his summer!
Hi everybody,
I just wanted to say thanks-a-million for giving me a home with my new parents in Saint Augustine. I love them very much, and they love me. We do so much together. Recently, I went to Pennsylvania to visit our family. They have a few dogs, and I got to play with all of them. I will try and send pictures of my trip as soon as mom downloads them. This past week, I had a chocolate lab stay with me for nine days, and we had a great time. Her name is Coco. I even got to take her to the beach, and we went camping too. I tried to chase a few squirrels up a tree. My dad was laughing because I was actually climbing the tree!
Oh yeah, we got to watch Hotel for Dogs too! They were watching ME watch the movie. It was great; I highly recommend it to your other adoptees.
I love SPOONING with my new parents when we are watching TV. We really needed each other! Well some day I would like to stop by and visit you all -- I miss all of you. You were all so nice and caring. Well I need to get to sleep now. I ran up and down the beach today and have to get up early for work. Course, I don't have to work, I just like to hang out and watch everyone.
Bye for now!
Love,
Spooner (known as Cutie Pie to JHS staff)
