Pain sufferer finally finds relief

Angela Hairston of Deltona, Florida, survived a traumatic car accident several years ago. However, at times, she thought she might not survive the severe pain caused by her injuries.
The injuries Angela sustained included two herniated and two bulging discs in her cervical spine, plus a concussion and a cracked rib.
The discomfort she experienced in the aftermath of her accident was extreme and included headache pain on the scale of a migraine.
"I could not function," remembered Angela. "I was nauseous, couldn't eat, and couldn't stand light. I would have to take medication and lie down."
Angela needed help.
Initially, she saw a physician from her ER and then sought care from a chiropractor. The chiropractor tried a new treatment, laser acupuncture, which is expensive and did not work for Angela.
"He eventually released me, saying I was at maximal medical improvement, which simply wasn't true," added Angela.
Some colleagues in nursing told Angela about the good experiences they had had at Adkore Rehabilitation, and Angela decided to check it out.
According to Angela, Adkore has been able to find therapies that have alleviated her severe headaches, including spinal decompression prescribed by Dr. Jane.
"They were wonderful about listening to my complaints of pain and worked diligently to help me through it," recalled Angela. "I used to experience severe headaches every 10 days and now get them perhaps twice in a five-month time period. It's like miracle for me."
Customer service is definitely a top priority for the staff at Adkore. They adjusted schedules to accomodate Angela's work hours--and were happy to help.
