OHSU Market Basket
It's Easy!
Fresh, Convenient, Locally Grown & Produced
Vegetables, Fruit, Mushrooms, Filberts, and Honey

For October 6, 2009
Hello!
Welcome to the OHSU Market Basket program where you can pre-purchase fruits, vegetables, breads, dips and meats from the OHSU Farmers Market and pick it up after the market is over from 4-7pm. Please forward this email to a friend who might benefit from this offering.

Many of our busy staff at OHSU cannot make it to the market from 11:30-3:30 but want to support local farmers and bring home some fresh goods. This program will ensure a better sales day for our vendors and make the most seasonal, fresh, delicious food accessible for you after work.

Recipe will be available with basket pick-up!

The OHSU Farmers Market website has a NEW look! Check it out!

Thank you again for your continued support of locally produced foods. Your purchases promote a healthy future!

  1. Review the contents of this week's bag below. If it sounds delicious...

  3. Since we need to give our farmers time to gather your purchases, we will need your order by 11:59pm, Thursday night.
  4. You can sign up for just 1 week.. or if you trust the market manager to pick outstanding selections, you can sign up for the rest of the year and receive a discount!
  5. Pick up your basket at the BICC, 2nd floor (Ground entrance) on Tuesday nights from 4-7. See below for a map. The BICC is located at the intersection of SW Veterans Hospital Rd and SW Sam Jackson Park Rd, under the pedestrian bridge.
  6. Bring your receipt.
  7. BYOB: You must bring your own bag.
  8. Eco-canvas bags with thermal inserts (to keep your goods cool) are available for purchase at the Farmers Market or the It's All Good Natural Food store on the 9th floor of south hospital for $12.
  9. Give yourself about 5 minutes to collect the items. You will fill your own bag with the list provided.
  10. If you do not pick your purchase up, it will be donated to a local charity. We cannot hold it for you.
