May is here and so is the OHSU Farmers Market! We begin the year next Tuesday, May 20th at 11:30am.  We are thrilled about this upcoming season.  Every month we will highlight a new theme.. and May is "Celebrating Farmers".. and all of the incredibly hard work it takes to provide us with food.. from seed to plate. Our first market will have several vendors selling seeds and starts.. we encourage you to become your own farmer! Pick your favorite food and learn how to grow it.. i'm sure our experts will give you some great tips.

In this 1st edition of the OHSU Farmers Market Newsletter, you will find links to our updated website, product listings, maps, and summaries of our new programs. Spread the word.. pass this e-mail on to a friend. The market is here to serve you, so feel free to e-mail with feedback and revolutionary ideas. It has been a cold spring, as you well know, so farmers are doing their best to encourage their young seedlings to grow.. thus, the 1st 2 markets will be sparse in produce.. but FULL of other local goodies. We invite you to come and support your local food producers on Opening Day in the Auditorium Courtyard near the Mackenzie Hall Fountain. See you soon!
