 9/11 Gratitude Ride |
 "We're visiting the local firefighters in remembrance of all those who lost their lives on Sept. 11," said Dan Turner, a member of the Pasco County Choppers, which is helping to organize the event. At the same time the group wants to thank local firefighters for all they do.
Anyone who rides a motorcycle is invited to join the ride, which will begin near the Big Lots store at SR54 and US41. We invite you to meet at Performance Honda Store prior to our KSU at 8:30am. At which time we will ride over to Big Lots to meet up with the other groups that are staging for the ride. The ride will proceed north on US41 to begin a circuit that will make stops at fire stations in Dade City, San Antonio, Land O' Lakes, Lutz and Carrollwood. The riders will express their gratitude to the firefighters at each stop, and the group will give T-shirts to the firefighters at each station, Turner said.
