The story in the September Newsletter regarding hunting dates in Washington listed an incorrect date for the General Deer Season for Modern Firearms.  The correct dates are as follows: 

Modern Firearm General Deer Season

Western Washington (blacktail)

Oct. *11-31
Eastern Washington (whitetail)

Oct. *11-24
(mule deer)

Oct. *11-19

 

*Some Game Management Units have different dates and special hunts, so check with the Department of Fish & Wildlife big game pamphlet for more information at http://www.wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/game/hunter/huntregs2008.pdf.
