| Greetings!
Happy New Year! In anticipation of our 2008 Season, this month's newsletter features good news from last year and exciting news for 2008, including Flux's director search, upcoming events like Have Another and Food:Soul, and information on designer/actor submissions.
In February's issue, we'll have more information on our first production, A Midsummer Night's Dream, including details on an exploratory reading series surrounding the production known as the The Imagination Compact.
Wishing you a joyous and prosperous New Year and we hope to see you in 2008!

| How you can help Flux in the New Year |
As you can see, we have an ambitious year ahead of us: a classic comedy, a searing tragedy, and an epic trilogy in repertory. And we can only tackle these big artistic risks with your support. We are nearly halfway to meeting our 2008 fund-raising goal, but we're not there yet. Last year, Flux staged two full productions and developed over fifty new plays. Your tax-deductible gift, whether five dollars or five thousand, will help us continue this vital work. Please use the link below to support our Season of Transformation: Donate Online |
| Flux's Food:Soul Save the Date |
Save the date for our next Food:Soul, Flux's Potluck Play Reading Series, on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 6pm. Our last Food:Soul was filled to capacity as friends from eleven different theatre companies joined us for home cooked food and Adam Szymkowicz's beautiful play, Pretty Theft.
This time we will be looking at Jason Grote's This Storm is What We Call Progress. And of course, there will be great food and company, all provided by Flux Theatre Ensemble for the NYC Theatre Community. |
| Calling all Actors and Designers |
|
As we prepare for the 2008 Theatre Season, we are looking for actors and designers not only for our three major productions, but also the many readings surrounding the productions, as well as our Bar Series, Have Another, and our Potluck Series, Food:Soul.
