Inbound 13/1300/1800 | Inbound numbers can give you a more professional image and will never change even if you move to anywhere else in Australia. This is because the inbound number can be terminated on any Australian landline and/or mobile number. Therefore these numbers can be used on your stationary and advertising and will never need to be changed. Great for home based business seeking to improve their image. Also, these numbers make it cheaper and easier for your customers to contact you. Basically, the caller only pays a local call rate for 13/1300 numbers and calls to 1800 numbers are free. You pay the call charges which generally are quite modest. You may also consider using smartnumbers to give you that additional marketing edge. |
smartnumbers | smartumbers are freephone (1800 numbers) or local rate (13 or 1300 numbers) that are allocated by the Australian Telecommunications and Media Authority (ACMA) though an online auction system. A smartnumber, or phoneword, can be a valuable marketing tool if it is a highly patterned number eg 1800 222 222 or if it can be translated into a memorable phoneword, eg 132287 (13CATS) A caller dials a phoneword by pressing the letters on a telephone keypad. Phonewords are easier than letters to remember, particularly if they can be linked to the organisation's name or function eg 13 RSPCA. For further information on smartnumbers, go to www.smartnumbers.com.au |

| Smartphone Review - HTC Desire | |
According to HTC, "the HTC Desire offers a multitude of HTC Sense widgets that makes it easy to transform your Home screen with rich content that personalizes your phone experience. The HTC Desire excels at helping you stay in touch with the different circles of friends or colleagues in your life. The new People widget lets you bring any group you create on your phone right to the surface for easy access to calling, messaging, emailing or simply checking up on social networking updates. HTC Desire offers an expansive display, a blazing-fast processor, and a great interface. On top of that, it has a lot of little design touches that make a big impact on your overall phone experience: like the new 'Leap' thumbnail view that lets you easily jump to any of the seven panels on your Home screen, or the polite ringer that lowers the ringer volume when you pick up."
