One Number, Plenty of Lines - Line Hunt
man
Line Hunt lets you add additional lines, yet advertise only one number. As calls come in on your main number, Line Hunt automatically finds the next free line and puts them through. Customers needn't wait until the main phone line is free of calls.

With Line Hunt you can:
1. Maximise the value of advertising with one number for your whole business
2. Increase line capacity by adding lines without buying additional equipment
3. Improve customer service because callers can go straight through to a line free of calls
4. Streamline your business by directing calls to the appropriate departments
5. Share the load on fax machines because calls can go through to the next free fax machine

WHAT IS A PABX?
LG Aria

PABX is an acronym standing for Private Automated Branch Exchange. This is another way to describe a telephone system. Such systems help customers to manage calls within their business. Customers can use their PABX to do things like;

1. Share a limited number of lines between a greater number of extensions or users. 2. Forward calls to other people within the business. 3. Call other people within the business by just dialling an internal extension number. 4. Put callers on hold (and play them a message or some music while they wait). 5. Set up calls to hunt through each line within the business. 6. Implement a call queue system. 7.Implement some push-button options when a caller gets through (e.g. push 1 for..). 8 Have a voicemail service for each user or an out of hours recorded message

PABXs are sometimes referred to as "key systems or even "Commander systems after one of the most successful brands in Australia. Althought there are many makes and models some common brands you may come across include: Alcatel, Aveya, NEC, Panasonic, Fujitsu, Samsung, Siemens and LG.
