Featured Wine - Mansfield Pinot Gris |
After a hard day at work there is nothing better than a glass or two of Mansfield Pinot Gris from the "Wine Chicks" at Prospect Wines Williamstown. Their recent review is as follows:
"Mansfield Pinot Gris 2008. Yes it does come from Mansfield, and luckily the winery had no dramas with the recent bush fires. When you pour this wine into the glass you can tell by the very slight pink tinge that this is no ordinary wine. And the aroma jumps from the glass and hits you. WOW!!! This luscious style has delicate berry fruit aromas with hints of spices and pear. A zippy vibrant fresh wine with lemon freshness and a crisp acidity. It is one of the very few aromatic whites that does not suffer from being over chilled. Drink with shellfish, white fish or garden salads. You'll fall in love with this wine."
