We were very sorry to learn of the sudden passing of Mitch Preece of Urban Hearth in Perth, Ontario on January 31st, 2012. 

Mitch was the cherished soulmate of Vanessa Percival. Loved and respected father of Amber (Simon) Wilkinson, Michelle, Jessica, Sierra and Kingsley Preece. Dear brother of Viv (Hartmut) Westermann and Anthony Preece. Mitch will be fondly remembered by the clients of Embers and currently Urban Hearth and many good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edna (Wray) and Edward Preece.

Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Friday, February 3rd, 2012 from 2:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M.

Everyone is invited to join the family in celebrating Mitch's life at Fiddleheads following the visitation on Friday evening. Services will be held privately for the family. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (L.A.W.S.) or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
