Namaste!
I read something this morning that is stuck in my brain.
"Die fully given."
It has produced an endless stream of thoughts and questions, and I'm always interested in devoting a little time to ideas that make me stop and think about something-- anything-- outside the tedium of my usual brain-stuff.
What would it mean to die fully given, and what am I waiting for? What would I have to do, to change, to be, in order to die fully given? Fully given to what? Work? Causes I believe in? Friends? Lovers? Family? Dreams? Faith? Love? Compassion? The list goes on and on.
Perhaps the best question of all, in any given category, is just how far from "fully given" am I living-- and why?
"Die fully given." What would it mean to you?

Peace, Jill

Balance Your Practice

Yin & Yang Workshops April 3 - 5
Yin and Yang are two very different styles of yoga, that when woven together can create very healing results. We are pleased to have Heather Tiddens lead us through a weekend that exposes us to the quiet, gentle practice of Yin, as well as the intense pose sequences of Yang.
Yoking these mutually supportive yoga styles creates an opportunity for healing the stresses, trauma, and their underlying conditioning that block our potential and limit our lives. Come experience the freedom of being fully at home in your body -- energized, open, powerful and graceful.
6:00-9:00 pm, Friday, April 3 ~ Balance: Yin & Yang Yoga 2:00-5:00 pm, Saturday, April 4 ~ Hips & Shoulders 1:00-4:00 pm, Sunday, April 5 ~ Back Bending & Forward Bends
Visit the online scheduler and go to the Workshops tab to register or for more information. Due to space limitations, you MUST pre-register for these workshops. |
Yoga Immersion and Teacher Training

Learn more about 9 Months of Transformation
As we begin the fifth month of our first session of Yoga Immersion and Teacher Training at the blue, we are happily also looking forward to the beginning of our second session, which starts in September 2009. The program runs one weekend per month for nine months.
If you are interested but have a lot of questions, you are not alone. How advanced does my practice have to be? What if I don't want to teach? What is involved in the weekends? Will it take a lot of my time?
We'll answer all of your questions at our free YTT Information Session from 6:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, April 19 at the blue. Students from the current class will be in attendance to give you first-hand feedback about their experiences thus far.
Reserve your space on the scheduler or just drop by! |
