Detroit Public TV salutes Goss

Detroit Public TV (WTVS Ch. 56), a strong backer of children's programming, salutes Skillman Foundation President & CEO Carol Goss for receiving the 2009 Fred Rogers Leadership Award.

Arts grantees visit the White House


InsideOut Literary Arts Project and Sphinx made it to one of the country's biggest stages of all. Both organizations, which received support from the Foundation's Culture and Arts Youth Development Initiative, attended events at the White House today as part of the White House's efforts to support the arts and show the importance of arts education.

College scholarship forum set for Thursday
