Foundation names two new board members


The Skillman Foundation has added Herman B. Gray, M.D., and Jerry Norcia to its Board of Trustees. Gray is the president of Children's Hospital of Michigan and Norcia is president and chief operating officer of Michigan Consolidated Gas Company (MichCon). Read more.

Expo goes beyond health, connects residents to services


It may be known as the Color Me Healthy Expo, but in the Osborn community, the Aug. 1 event at The Center has come to mean much more than a day to focus on health. Now in its 9th year, the expo will welcome hundreds of families to the site on East McNichols to share a day of activities presented by Matrix Human Services, its mission partners and community organizations and supporters.
