This year's MOTTO for the Sommerfest are the mushrooms, called Schwammer'l in Bavaria. This year we brought more wild forest mushrooms to North
Texas than any year before - and are serving them while they are fresh and taste
best. This is the favorite time of the year for the lovers of the "Schwammer'l".
And this year's season will last only until the beginning of Schnitzelfest on September 16th. So, please

Hello All!
I beleive the building in question is located in Kelheim and that
Kelheim is the home of Schneider & Sohn's Brewery. I
visited their beergarden in Kelheim several years ago while on
holiday. I did not realize that I had a photo of the beergarden
until I saw my same photo in a stein club presentation by the Schneider
rep. I now have a comment for my photo.

Our Goal: Green Certification
Many guests have commented positively on the recent TV News story which covered our ongoing organic and single stream recycling efforts.
We are currently taking the next step and are working to eliminate Styrofoam containers, as in TO GO cups and trays. We are replacing those with containers that will organically recycle since they are made with cardboard and corn starch. Thank you for your positive feedback on this initiative so far! Our goal is to be certified as the third "Green Restaurant" in Texas by the end of the year. For more background on our efforts please click on the picture.
