Froehliche Weihnachten! Merry Christmas!
One quarter of a slow roasted goose with our signature bread dumpling and freshly braised red cabbage are the typical, traditional Bavarian Christmas dinner treat.

by Eddie Rose, Stein Club President
Despite the 37 degrees, wind and rain more
than 96 Stein Club members still chose to sit under the Christmas Train in the
Bier Garten singing, enjoying Spaten beverages and hors d'oeuvres reflecting as
they watched Bavarian winter scenes on the HDTV. Give yourself a round of applause. Through your participation, over
90 stuffed toys will be delivered to the North Texas Foster Children
organization. Wayne Allen, your club secretary, is making the delivery possible
for us. Even though Andreas Hausner, our
Spaten USA president, couldn't make it this year his presence was still felt.
He shipped in a great selection of button down Spaten and Franziskaner shirts,
T Shirts, turtleneck sweaters and some glasses. Juergen even raided the gift
shop to insure everyone received something. Saving the best for last, Susie won
the one-liter Spaten boot. The highlight of the evening was Allen Walling playing the 12 days
of Christmas on his trusty accordion assisted by 12 volunteers who animated
their character at each appropriate measure in the carol - speaking of
position, you should have seen the goose-a-laying. We all had a great laugh. It
was good fun. A special thanks goes out to our host Juergen and his team. Many
of you commented on the genuine feeling of appreciation you felt from the
Bavarian Grill Team for your holiday support and patronage. You can check out
the scrapbook and see some great photos by Thursday on .

steins are full, the friendship sincere and you guys are way above average. |
