2010  EXPECTED TO BE A GREAT YEAR AS WE
CADDY FOR A CURE

Murray

Where did the off season go? It seems like just yesterday we were watching the exciting Fed Ex Cup Playoffs and Fall Finish.  But here we are, in a brand new year of golf and fun, and Caddy For A Cure is ready.

We anticipate many exciting things as we follow the TOUR schedule and arrange even more Caddy For A Cure days to raise money to help many who are in need.

Timberlake

Whether it is caddying at THE PLAYERS and having the opportunity to actually hit a shot on the 17th hole DURING the practice round, or simply getting to spend the day with one of the world's best, we know it's all good.

Lopez

We expect to soon have a full schedule of players, venues, and dates to announce. Make sure that you go to the site (www.caddyforacure.com) to see what will fill your calendar and for whom YOU would like to caddy.

Romano

It is indeed fascinating to be able to see one of the best players on the planet up close and personal hitting shot after shot to perfection. We can assure you there is no better way in all of golf to have this experience than with Caddy For A Cure.

 FOCUS ON FANCONI

There is really no better way to start out the new year than with the impetus that was behind the entire Caddy For A Cure program -  National Spokesperson and Fanconi anemia patient, Christian Collins.

Chritian Verizon

It was one of those moments in life when something grabs your heart and simply does not let go. That moment for us was when we first met Christian 16 years ago. Meeting his brother, Calen, 6 years later, who was also born with FA, further sealed the 'heart' deal. We held their hands and prayed hour by hour through their transplants, listening and watching a family go through hell on earth.

We knew two things for sure: We loved golf, and this tragic disease called Fanconi needed help. We just did not know how these two things could work together. Then, on one otherwise normal day out with the best professional golfers in the world, an epiphany evolved into one of the coolest ideas in the world of golf.

Christin Padraig

Christian, aka "Batman", is doing well today, as is his brother. But we acutely recognize how this cruel disease works and how quickly things can turn. So, we treasure each and every day, watching Christian enjoying his times with the best golfers on the planet and proudly representing Fanconi anemia, all the while with that incredibly contagious smile that captivates everyone who comes in contact with him.

On behalf of the thousands of FAmilies with FA we salute you, Christian, and thank you! You have been an inspiration to many and have touched millions about FA. Well done!

SHARPIE TO SPONSOR FREE CHANCE TO CADDY IN 2010

Davis Love Steve Knoop

Last year's Caddy For A Cure Sharpie/Office Depot promotion was so well received and over the top exciting that Sharpie was eager to partner with us again this year. They asked us who would be one of the nicest, friendliest and well known players that would love to help charity and be a part of this type of promotion? Although there are many great guys on the PGA TOUR, we voted hands down for Davis Love III as one of the best to fit the job. When he was asked about it, Davis immediately committed and the promotion deal was sealed.

Look for the promotion later this year that will also include incredible prizes from several of our other sponsors, the JetBlue Challenge, SpeedGel,  and eGolftip.com. More details to come as we get closer to the actual start date, but watch and listen to a great promo piece by Davis. This Davis promo, done by SKY RADIO, will be featured on all Delta, US Airways and American Airlines flights in March and April.

GREAT START TO 2010 TO CURE FA
WITH THE "BIG EASY" ALREADY SOLD FOR VERIZON HERITAGE

It did not take long for the word to get out about Ernie Els' participating with Caddy For A Cure at the Verizon Heritage in Hilton Head....A man in South Florida purchased the "bag" as a surprise birthday gift for his wife and eagerly made plans to travel to the low country for the opportunity.

Although Ernie is sold, Defending Champion Brian Gay is still available, with many potential buyers closely watching the auction.

The 2010 player list will begin to grow as we travel to San Diego, lining up more of the best golfers in the world to "Caddy For A Cure." Stay tuned!

"To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded."~Ralph Waldo Emerson

When we started Caddy For A Cure, we knew it was really something to be "Inside the Ropes" experiencing the PGA TOUR up close and uniquely personal. Who would have ever known these experiences could turn into something that would change our lives and touch the deepest parts of our hearts?

When we send out these newsletters to our mailing list comprised of friends, FAmilies, fellow PGA Professionals and business partners, we recognize that caddying, or the thought of it, is not for everyone. What our intent is, is for you to realize that while you may not be one who wants to caddy, what we do is relevant to everyone's heart - it's about giving back in life. We have simply found a very unique way to give back by raising awareness and funds for a variety of needs and causes.

Please forward this to your golf friends, to your club membership, to anyone you know and truly, inexpensively, quickly, help us "Caddy For A Cure."

        Sincerely,

        Russ Holden PGA
