WHO WILL WALK AUGUSTA NATIONAL "INSIDE THE ROPES" AT THE MASTERS?
The anticipation is over now and the auction of the golf year is about to begin. Who will the lucky person be to walk inside the ropes at The Masters and caddy for Todd Hamilton at Augusta on Monday of the tournament??
Who is going to put on the white overalls and actually walk up to the first tee where so many greats have gone before and stand there as part of history? The President cannot do this, Butch Harmon or Hank Haney cannot get inside the ropes, Michael Jordan cannot go there, but you can.
Who will be the person that walks down the 11th fairway and sees Amen Corner for the first time inside the ropes? How fast will your heart be beating? To walk over Rae's Creek on Hogan Bridge for probably the only chance EVER to do this DURING the Masters....can you imagine?
Who are you going to play with? Anthony Kim? Phil Mickelson? Who is Todd Hamilton, Open Champion of 2004, going to practice with for the Masters? Could it be he plays with Tiger as he makes his return from knee surgery?
With 100% going to charity, how could one NOT want to do this? To come to Augusta and see The Masters in a way that will never be re-created so keenly? Helping the Wounded Warrior Project, the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, and the multitude of other charities supported by Caddy For A Cure, we cannot think of a better way to have fun and help at the same time.
We expect this opportunity to raise a tremendous amount of money for charity. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to rub shoulders with Arnold Palmer, with Jack Nicklaus, with Gary Player. It will be like going into the golf history books and opening a chapter of yesteryear like it just happened. To stand on the 16th green where Jack rolled in that putt in 1975. To see the green that Sarazen holed "the shot heard round the world," and the countless other great memories that we could write about for days. Just imagine....
If you are sincerely interested in this opportunity or know someone who may be and has the means to do so, please call us directly at 954-341-4600. Or, write russ@caddyforacure.com to inquire. This would be the ultimate gift of a lifetime for some very fortunate person, while helping many less fortunate at the same time.

FOCUS ON FANCONI
2008 was an incredible year for the Fanconi Anemia patients and friends of Caddy For A Cure. One cannot possibly imagine what it is like to interview and meet personally each and every family that we do a story on. It is mind numbing to hear the different stories of each family and how they are coping and dealing with this devastating disease. Gratefully, they all seem to be doing well and fighting on.
Here is a photo gallery of this year's featured Focus on Fanconi patients.

DEFENDING FBR CHAMPION JB HOLMES STARTS OUT 2009 FOR CADDY FOR A CURE
One of the longest hitters in the world of golf AND 2-time champion of the FBR, JB Holmes will delight some lucky fan at the FBR in Phoenix the end of January. We all watched him perform at Valhalla last fall when he helped America win back the Ryder Cup after a long dry spell. His down- home demeanor and prodigious drives left mouths open when he cleaned house.

Joining JB will be his fellow Ryder Cupper Ben Curtis. Who could forget Ben winning the Open Championship then almost knocking off Padraig for the PGA title this past year at Oakland Hills? And as always, the PGA TOUR professional caddie goes along with you. In Ben's case it will be world-class great guy and ultimate caddie Andy Sutton. Andy was the lucky guy when Ben won the Open after never having met him before that week......maybe he will be your lucky charm as well?
The FBR's 16th hole is one of the wildest places in all of golf. Be on the bag for Ben or JB and find out what it is like to have 40,000 screaming fans going nuts. It is a thrill that cannot be described. Pictured above is John Harmon caddying for Phil Mickleson last year at the FBR.

CADDY FOR A CURE BOARD, SOME OF THE FINEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD
Everything you see on the PGA TOUR each week with Caddy For A Cure, and receive in these newsletters does not happen without a lot of work. We are most proud to be governed by a 13 person Board of Directors. From a diverse mix of backgrounds, they all have one common goal in place, and that is,they want to help. And oh how they want to help. They give often and they give a ton of their precious time, thoughts, contacts, and efforts to help so many less fortunate. Over the past two years, they have traveled to many PGA TOUR events, help run events, attended meetings, and made countless phone calls on Caddy For A Cure's behalf.
Please take a moment and quietly applaud these warriors who have given so much in their volunteer role to make Caddy For A Cure what it is today. Look into the eyes of the people who "got round tuit" and followed their heart to helping others.

Facebook is a pretty cool thing. It allows you to stay in touch with old friends, find old friends, and let the world know what is important to you. My son has a Facebook page and has what I would consider a typical one. He has his treasured BMW M3 car, a bunch of friends having a good time, all the lunker fish he has caught, and all things that are special to him.
The reason I write about Facebook is one of the loudest statements about Caddy For A Cure happened recently with one of our former caddies, Michael Rabadam. I got the invite to become friends and was pleased to know Michael searched me out, and was shocked when I went to his page. There it was, front and center, 4 years after his caddie experience, a PIC of he and Sergio. He still to this day considers his investment with Caddy For A Cure one of his greatest life experiences and still wants to share it with the world.
To the same point, we received our Christmas card from the Repetto Family this week and were simply stunned to find that they had made their picture of Peter caddying for Johnson Wagner their Christmas card to send to their entire mailing list. Cold as it is in New Jersey, they were still remembering their great day when designing their card.
What a totally cool thing it was to see friends like this that have enjoyed the experience we have provided for them and thought enough of it to proclaim it in such a public way. We are proud and thrilled to have been able to make such memories for others.
In the same way for me was constructing this newsletter and putting together the list of each Fanconi Anemia patient for a year-end review.
As happy as we were to provide the great experiences, you cannot imagine how difficult it is for me to meet each family over the phone and through pictures as they share their own plight with this dreadful disease. This disease knows of no recession and it knows of no over the top stock market. It destroys the body in good times and bad just the same.
We know we are in the right place when we look at these pictures both good and heart touching. We know how cool it is to caddy for a day on the PGA TOUR, and we know how much these days help the many less fortunate.
Won't you please pass the word along to your membership, to your golf pals, to anyone who may have an interest in working with the best players in the world?
On behalf of Caddy For A Cure and its staff and Board of Directors, we wish you the happiest of holidays.
Sincerely,
Russ Holden PGA Caddy For A Cure Founder
