CADDY FOR A CURE GOLF TOURNAMENT A HUGE SUCCESS

Our recent golf tournament held at the prestigious and wonderful Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida was a huge success!

From Dennis Walters' fantastic opening show, to the incredible food served by Mizner, to playing Beat the Pro with soon to be LPGA Star Nicky Hage, everyone had the time of their life.

Especially nice was the Boca Raton St. Andrews School Bagpipe and Drum Corp who sounded fantastic while everyone played their last hole and came in off the course. These High Schoolers did an incredible job giving the feeling of the Old Course indeed. Aye!

Many sponsors, too many to list, came to bat to help our charity.  They were rewarded not only with the knowledge of helping so much, but will each receive a custom flag with their logo and signed by a PGA TOUR player as a gift of appreciation.

While golf was great and the on-course food from Abe & Louie's and Bru's - the best sirloin and wings in the world.....the best part of the day was having our National Spokesperson Christian, who came in from Macon, Georgia be part of the day. He was able to meet each group and not only share his love and zest for life, but introduce each foursome in a most compelling way to Fanconi anemia!

CHOPRA JOINS EXCLUSIVE CLUB OF WINNERS

Zach Johnson did it earlier this year. So did Padraig Harrington. So did Aaron Baddeley. KJ Choi did it twice. Charley Hoffman did it. Many have done it. What? Soon, if not immediately after they agreed to participate in Caddy For A Cure, they won.

Daniel agreed at the back of the range at Isleworth, a few days before the start of the Ginn Sur Mer Classic, to do Phoenix next year with Caddy For A Cure. We wished him the best and off he goes to his best finish and first win ever. Can it be true that good things happen to people who do good for others? We sure like to think so....

2008 TAKING SHAPE WITH BIG NAMES IN GOLF

The 2008 season is already starting to get cranking with many huge names in the world of golf. Phoenix is going to start the season off for Caddy For A Cure with players like Phil Mickelson, Daniel Chopra, Brett Wetterich, Vijay Singh, and Sean O'Hair.

John Daly has agreed to Caddy For A Cure next year and the schedule has not been determined for him yet so expect the venue to be announced sometime in January.

Verizon Heritage Champion Boo Weekly will be available for Hilton Head along with Presidents Cup Star Woody Austin. Not sure which one of these two guys will be more fun and more interesting to be with?

One of the most exciting aspects we are planning right now is the Wounded Warriors program participating with Caddy For A Cure. We are trying to work out a way for these great soldiers to come "inside the ropes" on the PGA TOUR and get to experience the same thrill that the winning caddies have received. What an honor to be able to help in this means!

What an incredible experience Caddy For A Cure is. Can you imagine ever getting to shoot a few free throws before an NBA game with Shaq? Would you ever dream of warming up Josh Beckett in the bullpen before a World Series game? Would you want to? Can you ever think of sitting next to Jeff Gordon before the Daytona 500? Just not going to happen - ever. Yet, these great players on the PGA TOUR consistently look forward to having a total stranger and rookie on the bag during their diligent practice round schedules playing for millions of dollars. Their livelihood on the line, and off they go with another caddie.

Says a lot about this great game of golf. Says a lot about the PGA TOUR and their "Giving Back" mentality. If you ever thought about doing a loop before on the PGA TOUR, I encourage you to try it next year for one of these great players. It will be a day I promise you will never forget.

        Sincerely
