A note from Zig Ziglar.....

Ziglar Point

Dear Russ,

What a delight it was to hear from you with that encouraging testimonial, and your plans for Caddy for a Cure!  It really is exciting, Russ, and I'm just glad to be able to call you friend.  I know you are working hard to get the job done, and I have every reason to believe you will be very successful doing this.  When a man has a passion to do something, almost without exception he finds a way to get it done - and I'm convinced you have a passion for this.  The need is great; the motive is pure.

Russ, I just want you to know that I am proud of what you are doing and I believe you will be successful in it.  More importantly, I believe you will make a difference in the lives of many of these kids who have the misfortune of being afflicted with such a devastating disease.  I hope you will keep me on your list, keep me informed as to what's going on and how it's going.  In the meantime, I will make every effort to keep up with your progress and when I read the paper and see your name, I'll always smile.

Thanks again, Russ, for taking this bold step.  I'm believing you're going to be successful at it.

Sincerely, your friend and brother,

Zig Ziglar

BADDELEY, MICHEEL, AND SCOTT HEADLINE UPCOMING AT&T AT CONGRESSIONAL COUNTRY CLUB

What an opportunity coming up to caddy for one of the world's truly great players at the historic Congressional Country Club.  Tiger Woods new AT&T National event in a few weeks time will be the site of one of the best ever CFAC events.

We all watched Aaron Baddeley walk to the first tee at this years US Open with a lead over Tiger and eventual winner Angel Cabrera, and we ached for him watching him struggle the last day. But, what we also saw was someone with world class ability who will surely be back to the winners circle soon. Adam Scott is clearly one of the best players in the world today being the former Players Champion, as well as the FOURTH ranked player in the world currently.

Shaun Micheel, is a former PGA Champion and one of the best guys out on the PGA Tour. This is the chance of a lifetime to caddy for one of these superstars in the world of golf.

CADDY FOR A CURE CHARITY SPOTLIGHT:
TIGER WOODS FOUNDATION

Caddy for a Cure is proud to have the Tiger Woods Foundation as a Host Site recipient for the AT & T National held at Congressional Country Club. 25% of the monies achieved through players Adam Scott, Aaron Baddeley, and Shaun Micheel will be donated to the TW Foundation.

The Tiger Woods Foundation was established in 1996 by Tiger Woods and his father Earl to empower young people to reach their highest potential by initiating and supporting community-based programs that promote the health, education and welfare of all of America's children.

TWF started reaching out to young people primarily through junior golf clinics and a national grant program.  From these efforts evolved fundraising events such as the Target World Challenge and Tiger Jam.

The Foundation has grown to include participation in Target House at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.; the Start Something character development program created through our partnership with Target Stores; and the construction and development of the Tiger Woods Learning Center, an educational facility located in Anaheim, Calif.

Tiger and Earl started the Foundation based on the belief that we all have the responsibility to help young people achieve their dreams. With the help of many friends and supporters, the Foundation has reached out to millions of children across the country.

JOHN HARTMAN CADDIES FOR SERGIO GARCIA
John Hartman recently joined the Caddy for a Cure "family" and had the day of his golf life at the Charlotte Wachovia Championship. Not only did he get to experience caddying for Sergio, but he was also the lucky recipient of a world class group that Sergio played with.

John walked to the first tee with Sergio only to find his playing partners for the day were Retief Goosen and Camillo Villegas! The first tee was packed with fans as well as excitement as John prepared for his first day "looping" on the PGA Tour. He did an excellent job on the bag for Sergio then had lunch with his caddy Glen Murray in the luxurious Wachovia caddy dining area.

After lunch, John came back out to the putting green to help with a little more practice Garcia style. Then he went out on the course to watch fellow CFAC participant Heath Grewell carry for world superstar Ernie Els. Ernie also treated Heath to not only his own skills, but a great day with US Ryder Cuppers Chris DiMarco and Brett Wetterich.

You never know who you are going to get to caddy with when you sign up for Caddy for a Cure.
TPC
As we move along in the Tour season, we cannot help but find some interestingly cool things happening to CFAC players as they agree to be involved with Caddy for a Cure.

Jim Furyk said yes to Akron and almost won the US Open. KJ Choi said yes to CFAC and wins Memorial. Luke Donald said yes and won. Sergio did CFAC and finishes 2nd at the Players Championship. Is it possible that good things happen to good people who give of themselves? I think yes. Why don't you either bid to caddy for one of our great players coming up, or consider a donation to help us keep going on. This is also the ultimate gift for that special person or best client in your business.  I can assure you, ask any of our past winners if this experience was not the best they have ever had and you will find only positive answers. Come be a part of something unlike anything else in professional sports.

        Sincerely
