And almost as famous as their magnificent fairways, are the 19th hole watering stops to tip a pint in the clubhouse with the locals. There will surely be smiles all around.

Little boys zoom toy race cars across the living room rug as surely as little girls cuddle their baby dolls. Way before guys are old enough to get a drivers license, the dream of taking a pricey performance car out on a race track is a lifelong dream. We all imagine swooshing around corkscrew curves every time we see a new car commercial on TV. Tip # 4 Get Creative on Vacation

At least once a year I like to learn a new skill or improve on an old favorite. That sends me searching for a cooking school in Tuscany, an art workshop in Santa Fe, a writers workshop or maybe even golf lessons. I don't know about you, but for me in the Northeast, the winter has been long, snowy and yes, a bit boring. As I flip through seed catalogs, I just can't wait to get outside and 'do things'. I envision a spring and summer filled with fun, exuberance, and enlightening adventures.

You can search by interest, location, or month. They have listings for Language Schools, Cooking Schools, Photography Programs, Golf and Tennis Camps, and Creative Programs of every description. Wow, maybe I'll send Clint to a boat building workshop in Maine, while I scoot off to Snow Farm in the Berkshires to learn a new craft. We both NEED a new project, right!!!
