Anderson to address Chico Tech Group
Sue Anderson from the Chico State Alumni Association will make a presentation on the ever-expanding Alumni Career Services program on Friday, April 3 at the Butte Community Employment Center, located at 2445 Carmichael Drive in Chico (Map). The meeting will take place from 7 to 8 a.m. We will also have a detailed presentation on the upcoming 40th Anniversary of the Chico State Computer Science Department.

Feel free to bring associates from your company that may be interested. A complete agenda will be sent by Tuesday of next week.

Facebook Live: Wednesday, April 1 meeting will benefit local libraries
The Facebook Live - Chico group invites you to help aid your book collection and that of the Butte County Library at the next meeting, which will be April 1. The time is tentatively scheduled for 4:30 p.m. but is subject to change to possibly accomodate more attendees.

The idea is simple: Bring all the books you have that you're willing to donate. You have the option of picking up other people's books to take home and read. Any books left over will be donated to the Butte County Library.

FB liveYou can access the page by clicking here, and keep posted Tuesday for more details on the event. You must have a Facebook account to join. If you haven't signed up do so! And be sure to tell all your friends!

The group currently has 394 members (17 more than last week) and, with the success of the Chico Food Bank Tweetup, is gaining recognition around Chico. And expect a message soon about more exciting April 1 events.

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 at Uptime CoWorking Studio at the corner of First and Salem streets, and there is likely to be a very special (and possibly silly) event taking place before that meeting on April Fool's Day.
Save the date for CEPCO's annual dinner
Mark your calendars for June 25, as it will be the night of the CEPCO Excellence in Business annual dinner as well as the finals for the Venture Island competition. The date is set, and there is sure to be a great night of food, drink, networking and Venture Islandrecognition at Chico State's Bell Memorial Union Auditorium. Photos from last year's dinner can be found by clicking here.

Look for more in the coming weeks about how you can reserve yourself a seat or a table at this year's event.

Another chance to help feed the hungry
Grocery Outklet
The first Chico Foodbank Tailgaters event to help the Jesus Center was a success and there is another opportunity for you to help the Jesus Center in collaboration with the Facebook Live group.

The event will be Wednesday, April 8 and the theme is to put a meal in a box, though donations of any type would be accepted.

'Come Home to Chico' wants your stories!
The Come Home to Chico campaign has a Web site section devoted to testimonials from people who came home to Chico. The testimonial section is getting much larger lately, so big thanks to the people who submitted.

Visit the page by clicking here.

Come Home to Chico wants your pics on there too! Of course we'd ask for a testimonial as well. All we want to hear is why you came home to Chico. Why is it a great place to live? Why is it a great place to work?

Come HomeE-mail your testimonial to Leland by clicking here and be sure to attach a jpeg picture. We look forward to seeing your responses!
